I had an amazing experience Cooking with Monisha!
Monisha is so lovely. She is completely knowledgeable about Indian cooking (she's written books on it!) and guided me with a caring and attentive hand; making sure I was very hands-on with expert guidance here and there. I learnt many "secret" tips from Monisha which I can't wait to use more often in my cooking. It was great to concentrate mainly on the techniques and science behind the cooking rather than do a really complicated recipe. The dishes came out brilliantly.
I would thoroughly recommend Monisha. I really enjoyed my time (and the curries I made with her) and can't wait to send the wife along!

I contacted Chef Monisha in the hope that she could host a private cooking class with my mum to learn some of the Goan classics she had a child. Chef Monisha was incredibly helpful; ahead of the event she curated a bespoke menu and let me know what utensils I would need.
The class itself surpassed our expectations. We were able to cook 5 dishes in 3 hours due to the prep that Monisha had done. Not only was the class enjoyable but it was incredibly informative too. Chef Monisha is not only organised, she is also a pleasure to be around which made the whole morning incredibly enjoyable. My mum said it was one of the best gifts she has received.

This was a fabulous day - we did the Indian Fish and Seafood all day course. We cooked 6 different dishes - 2 for lunch and 4 to take home! I learnt a lot about layering of flavours, how to use spices and water! Lots of interesting information about how the food differs from region to region in India. Monisha is a delightful teacher, warm and friendly and so knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this. Was easy to park close to the station, the trip to the local shop was also very interesting indeed and we went back there afterwards to stock up. I have come away confident that I will be able to reproduce what we cooked on the day.

Incredible afternoon. Learnt and ate so much. Monisha’s classes are fantastic. She is knowledgeable, passionate and very approachable.

This is our third class now with Monisha and she did not disappoint. She really is so knowledgeable, patient and passionate about Indian food. Although meat eaters we decided this time to do the vegetarian cooking class and the dishes were delicious and we cannot wait to recreate. We are so looking forward to the Indian bread making course in March. Thanks Monisha! Marie&Lou

I had such an enjoyable day being taught by Monisha to cook authentic vegetarian food. Monisha was an excellent teacher, supportive, practical and charismatic. The food we made was absolutely delicious, and I've learnt skills I can easily use at home. I'm looking forward to my next course with her.

This cookery class was fabulous. We cooked so many delicious dishes in absolutely no time at all. Simple Indian Cooking was exactly that. Plus I feel more than capable to cook them again at home with the recipes given to us. This is my second class and I’ll definitely be working my way through the other classes on offer. Monisha is so friendly and full of stories and information. It’s like cooking with a very good friend!

This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day we spent with Monisha and our fellow students. Monisha made us all feel very relaxed and welcome, involving everyone is the various processes as we prepared and cooked different dishes. A couple of my favourite things were learning how to cut an onion like a pro, and learning how to properly use spices. I’ve reproduced the dishes we learned for family and friends with great success. We will definitely be attending another course with Monisha!

I attended the Indian bread making day with Monisha.
It was great fun and I learned so much. Monisha is very knowledgable and skilled and is able to answer just about any food query you might have.
This was my second cooking experience with her and I’m sure I will be back.
Thanks for a lovely day, even if I did feel like a stuffed Paratha at the end of it. In a good way, of course.

Monisha's full day simple Indian cookery course was great fun and very informative.
We learned about the ingredients needed for best results and were guided through the cooking techniques required for perfect, delicious, authentic Indian food.

I would like to book. Cookery class for my family, however I have 1 vegetarian member and two who would prefer meat. is this possible?
