‪Lovely Place For Your Child To Explore...‬

‪On arrival I was pleased to see lots of parking. It wasn't too busy so there were plenty of spaces and a disabled space not far from the entrance.

We have been to a similar place but this is bigger. We were greeted with a smile and as we hadn't been before we were given a short brief. There are lots of tables to sit at and all were very clean. Unfortunately I had a bit of a struggle to get around with my walking stick. Without all the children's high chairs it would of been fine but of course it's a place for children so you can't expect them to not have high chairs around. I can only suggest reducing the amount of tables by one and spreading the rest out a bit more.

Ordered tea and coffee. My son was having a great time! He really enjoyed the bikes and the road print on the floor. Each shop was well designed and had lots of toys. It wasn't over crowded so accidents were minimal, few and far between.

At the end, we helped to tidy up and that's when my son started crying knowing that it was all over. Just shows how much he liked it!

The ladies toilets were clean and tidy although would benefit from a lick of paint on areas that are chipped. We were given a sticker when we left which was a nice touch.

I noticed some toys were a little damaged. Must be difficult and expensive to replace them often.

A great time all in all. Will be coming back and I would recommend!!!

One thing that should be addressed is the plastic ice-cream cones. The tops come off and are a bit dirty inside at the bottom. So I suggest a good clean or even sticking the top to the cone base so that nothing gets inside and they don't need taking apart and cleaning inside. Just a thought.‬

‪Great place for kids‬

‪Came for a weekend play and it was great. As there is only a limited number for each stay and play it wasn’t overly crowded. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There are so many different activities and areas with well thought out details the kids loved it. My child’s favourite was the tricycles, trikes and bikes to go around the road. We will be returning!‬

‪Fantastic role play centre!‬

‪We go to Play Avenue regularly and absolutely love it! The staff are so warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. My children are now 3.5 and 1.5 and get so much out of the experience each time they go, it really sparks their imaginations! They keep on top of cleaning both during the session and in between sessions and regularly maintain the venue. The food is top quality too! Such a great place to have so close to home!‬

‪Superb place to visit with young children. Many different role play rooms with excellent equipment made for a wonderful first visit to a very friendly and safe place. Good menu for old and young alike completed a great visit!!!‬

‪Lovely place to explore for the kiddies‬

‪Visited for a family 2nd birthday celebration with my 4 and 7 year old. They all had a fab time and we could watch on without being too involved until we were beckoned.
Lovely place, everything is pristine and everyone had lots of fun.‬

‪Great play centre‬

‪Excellent play centre which my niece adores! We are not from the area but she is always asking to go and it is worth the 40 minute drive! It is always clean and tidy and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There is lots of different role for the children and my niece loves going in and out of the different areas. I have only ever had a drink and cupcake but both were very nice and reasonably priced. No doubt we will be visiting again!‬

‪Second visit not as pleasant as first‬

‪This was my second visit to Play Avenue, first visit was a fab experience but my second visit was not. I took my grandson who is just learning to walk. It was packed. Just observing the amount of children there were already told me I would be leaving early. A birthday party for a girl of about 8 years old was taking place. I would describe the scene as out of hand as you had children riding the peddle bikes, trackers into the shops, clearing the shelves into their carts and then working their way into another section and taking all the equipment from that. Kids going round the road section was manic: kids were crashing into one another, peddling so fast they were tipping over. I over heard other parents say how manic it was and just not well planned. After 40 minutes I left. I did tell a member of staff as to why I was leaving, she recommended I phone before visiting to check how many are booked in the slot. I did say that it would be nice if there was information given to say a birthday party had been booked and the age.‬
