We went on a beach ride today (myself and my mother) we both really enjoyed our trip. We had dan and gracie and both horses were lovely to ride and very well kept. Imogen was our trek leader and she was fab! Would highly recommend!

Had a amazing hrs ride. Never been on a hack before. The stables are well managed and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go again

My daughter had a fab 2hr beach hack. Everyone we met were friendly and professional. She felt safe and comfortable. There was no pressure to canter (she did! Lol) but she said she felt confident to say if she didn’t want too as the instructors were available all through the hack and checked on everyone. Staff were really accommodating, letting me take pictures and telling me the best place to go to get pictures of her while riding on the beach!

Fantastic 2 hour trek through the dunes, across the beach and back through the town.
The ride was well organised and the staff were brilliant. The staff explained everything clearly and were safety conscious at all times. The horses were beautiful, well looked after and well behaved.
There was an opportunity for lots of trot work and some long fast canters across the huge beach.
Highly recommend to anybody who is visiting the area, they cater for complete novices as well as experienced riders. I will absolutely be returning for a horse ride here on my next trip to Cornwall.

I booked a two hour beach ride on Easter Sunday and had an amazing time! It was a large group with very mixed abilities - beginners and experienced riders all together - but the instructors were extremely professional and made us all feel like we were in safe hands. The more experienced group (which I was in) got to canter several times along the beautiful 3 mile beach, and before/after each canter the instructor checked in with us to make sure we were ok. The horse I rode was forward going and easy to handle, which was a nice change as riding school horses can sometimes be a bit lazy/ploddy, and I wanted one with some life!
The ride itself was scenic, taking us through the sand dunes and onto the beach, and when we got down onto the sand we cantered up to the 'quiet end', did a loop and then cantered back to meet the 'walk/trot' group at the other end of the beach. When we left the beach we rode back to the stables through the town which was fun! Lots of holiday makers were snapping photos of us as we passed - I imagine it was nice for them to see so many horses!
As an experienced rider, I rarely find a stable that offers me the challenge I want when out on a hack, but this was really enjoyable and I loved every minute of it. I would like to thank all the instructors for a great afternoon in Perranporth - and a special mention to Noah, my lovely horse, for carrying me :)

I did two rides - a one hour ride in the countryside and a two hour beach ride. The horses are lovely and the instructors very friendly and professional. My son, 14, and I were very well looked after. The beach ride was awesome- the such a stunning beach! I would love to return.

Took our granddaughter for the ride round country lanes. Very impressed with safety and care taken of riders. They were well supervised, important previous experience/medical issues taken into account. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

My teenage daughter took part in the hour trail ride today and came back raving about it. The instructors were lovely and ‘Gracie’ was a fun ride. She was also given the opportunity to separate into a small group for a canter before rejoining the main group. Would definitely recommend these stables.

We had an Absolutely amazing ride. Three completely novice riders who were really supported during our hack. I went off for a canter with another young lady. Both staff members were so good and fun. Made the novice riders relaxed. Thoroughly recommend

I’ve been riding since I was a young child and always wanted to ride a horse on a beach but never had the opportunity. Whilst on holiday in Cornwall I saw beach rides advertised at this riding school, which was an hours drive away from where I was staying and it was well worth the drive. I had the most amazing experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were polite and friendly and put all the riders and horses safety first. I was lucky enough to ride Dan who was a very steady and safe horse; all the horses appeared safe and looked after tiger riders regardless of their ability. I have had the most amazing experience with this riding stables: a lovely picturesque hack down to the beach and a perfect beach ride - thank you so much to all the staff and horses. I have always owned my own horses and grew up in a riding school, but this was a really amazing riding experience. I really would highly recommend.

What kind of prices/ length are available, just to get an idea and also is it ok for 7-9 year old also..

There is many options from 30 mins to 2hrs for all abilities. Did a beach ride the other week with beginners and those with 16yrs experience. The prices are at the bottom of their 'rides and treks' page. Check out the website here reen manor stables. com/rides-and-treks/ ☺️❤️

Do you have a meeting point for the beach rides or do you go to the stables and ride from stables to beach?? Just seems abit of a way from the beach?

From the stables you cross the road and go down a bridle path towards the beach.Its a nice ride to the beach going down the dunes to the shoreline and riding along it and then retrace your ride back to the stables. It is a direct route and not a great distance at all.
