Another Beautiful Jervis Bay Beach. After a Tranquil quick walk from the car park you are Greeted with beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. my only regret is not allocating more time to spend here.

I have no idea why Murray's beach appears on Trip Advisor but the far superior green patch area is no where to be found in the reviews. Murray's beach is gorgeous for sure but requires a good 5 -10 walk from the car park and doesn't have the wallabies, parrots, and grassy picnic areas. We spent the morning at Green patch and then drove the extra 15 min to Murray's beach to check it out. While certainly worth a visit if you had to choose between the two I'd choose Green patch hands down

At the far eastern end of Booderee National Park along Jervis Bay Road, is a very large parking area just a short walk from the beach. With crystal clear and safe waters, protected by headland and Bowen Island, Murrays Beach is a perfect spot for young children, but adults of any age with love the soft sand and serenity. While there, make sure do the 1 km walk to Governor Head for view from designated lookout. Good toilet facilities at car park. Limited other facilities so bring own food and drink.

This beach is so beautiful and I had a relaxing swim in the turquoise water. It is in a national park with a payment booth but we got in for free today. Not sure why but we were given a free pass! Great morning here.

The pictures tell the story beautiful white sand at this secluded beach in the Booderee National Park, just a short stroll from the car park past a few local wildlife enjoying a feed near the path. Worth the park entry fee if you don’t have an annual pass.

The place was deserted when we where there and it was magnificent, with out doubt one of the best beaches in the world, you have to go there.

It’ secluded and we won’t know of it if we weren’t going on the Governor Head hike. Nice place to relax if you want some quite time here

The hidden jewel of the Jervis Bay beaches. Murray’s Beach has everything and because it is enclosed in a national park it has magnificent trees surrounding the white sand and clear water. Possibly the best beach in Australia
And it has picnic tables above it which make for a tremendous place to have lunch

Always have a try for fish here but no luck, wrong time of day for tide

Beautiful beach protected in most weather, has a great boat ramp nearby and is famed for beautiful snorkelling along the western end rocks, and great squid fishing.

From Hutskinson and Jervis bay there is a road that goes into the park (entrance fee), all the way to Murray's Beach, from which you can see Bowens island. The marker on the map is wrongly placed.
There are short side way's to other beaches.
From the parKing lot you can make several walks along the coast.
On the same peninsula are botanical gardens.
