We saw Footloose at Dutch Apple. Dinner was just ok. Dessert was pretty good though. The show was really good. The cast seemed more comfortable after intermission, but the show was really good overall.

We have been twice in the last 9 months. Chicago last August 2022, Footloose on April 15th. Both shows were very enjoyable and the buffet was good. Salad, hot food great!, Ice cream is the only thing I eat on the dessert table. I wish I could go back to watch ELVIS in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping in will come again next year 😁

My, my, my... what a nice surprise! Our group was a little bit skeptical about attending Dutch Apple's rendition of " Sister Act," but Holy Cow( pun) they sure did bring a plethora of smiles on our senior citizen church group!
Having seen the original with that Whoopie character, I was amazed how spot on the casting was! Whoopie was out- whoopied by this show's lead singer/ actress, and the Sr. Mary Robert character was identical to the original's selection, as well as the Mother Superior's and the chunky nun's selections. Blown away!
To top it all off, the dinner part was a gastronomical masterpiece! Prime rib, no less, was the star, and baked cod in butter, chicken florentine, add a touch of Mamma's Italian sausage complete with onions and peppers= Get outta here Dutch Apple!
The waiters couldn't have been more attentive and courteous!
Back to the num nums, with their complete selection of pastries with the iconic Shoo Fly pie getting the most compliments.
My only complaint about this set up was the lack of wheelbarrows handy to escort happy, stuffed attendees to their transportation. Ha!
Hats off and belts bustin' to you wonderful folks for a complete entertainment masterpiece!
Guaranteed return for our group in the near future. Thanks much!

Great show today of Sister Act! This was our fourth or fifth time at Dutch Apple and have not been disappointed yet. Good food and Great Show.

Dutch Apple Theatre is a hidden gem for our family. We have only gone a few times and this was our first for a Christmas Show. Elf the Musical was well performed and the music was great. The performers, food, staff, band , etc... were a joy. Everything was made for a good time and we enjoyed ourselves. If you head to Lancaster - AMT and Dutch Apple should be on your entertainment list. We will be back for 2023 Christmas Sesaon.

I took a group of 40 last Saturday to see Elf. The students had a wonderful backstage tour that included a tour, theatre games and a chance to interview Elf himself. The food was great and the staff was friendly and efficient. The price was reasonable. Thank you Dutch Apple for a great time!

The food was very good and much to choose from. I saw the musical Chicago wand was very well done. Shows change from time to time. Don't miss.

We saw The Little Mermaid. It was a nice day and a wonderful show. Food was delicious and servers were very attentive. We brought our 4 yr old grandson and he was mesmerized by the show. We went to an afternoon matinee and it was perfect time with a toddler.

Don't presume that the show is family friendly. I just saw Rock of Ages. It was "rated" PG-13, but it should have been "R" for raunchy. I was sorry to have brought my 14 year old son; he got an eye and earful. The food was decent, but the seating is tight. Unless you are a party of 4 or 8, you will likely be seated with others. The actors and actresses had impressive voices, but the acting was cheesy...though that could be because the play was written just to tie a bunch of random 80's songs together. It's too expensive for what it is. For the same price (or close to the same price), you can get tickets to Sight and Sound for a truly amazing and unique theatrical experience minus the buffet.

I wasn't sure what to expect with their children's show Pinkalicious the Musical but it was AMAZING! The show was fun and entertaining, actually hilarious at times, the music was great! The buffet was... "kids food" so don't expect much there but they did have a salad bar, cupcakes, coffee and other drinks. You have about an hour to eat and the show itself is an hour. The playbill had word games for the kids to play, and the best part was the cast stayed on stage for an adorable and informative Q&A afterwards!!! My kids (ages 6, 6, 9) and us had the best time! Highly recommend!!!

We've never seen cutoffs or flip-flops, but casual dress is quite commonplace. Jacket and tie or cocktail dress would probably be excessive.

It is definitely handicap accessible and they have table so you can sit in at your wheelchair have a great time I think everybody else answer the questions and you can also go to the food section in your wheelchair

There's no senior rate I'm aware of. There are different levels of cost. You can get the buffet & show at a table or if you don't want a meal you can get a ticket just for the show, there are a few theater styles seats for that. There's a matinee with lunch, there are student and children tickets. If you need to call their phone is 717.898.1900 and they're very helpful.
