Truly a first class experience from start to finish. Great accommodations, excellent guide prepared lunches, perfect mileage each day! Our guides Jesse and Jodi were unbelievable….the best of the best!! I will book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time bicycling in Idaho (Coeur d'Alene/Hiawatha trail trip). First and foremost, the guides took excellent care of the group. There were 2 tour guides for our group of 11. They made sure we did not go hungry during the day - snacks and and lunches were prepared with care, with enough diversity for all. Water was always available with options for electrolyte tablets, along with sunscreen and other sundry needs. A hand washing station was even set up. The guides took good care of the bikes, cleaning them (the Hiawatha was a muddy, rainy ride) before the next morning's ride. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. It was a thrill riding through tunnels and over many bridges. This was our first trip with Wilderness Voyagers, and I highly recommend them.

heseI recently went on a bicycle tour with Wilderness Voyageurs. We rode on the Centennial, Coeur dAlene and route of the Hiawatha Rail Trails. I was traveling solo. I have been on two other bicycle tours with this company previously. All three trips have been wonderful experiences. The only compaint I can think of is weather related. Unfortunately, the tour company doesn't control the weather. I cycle regularly with a local cycle club during the summer so I didn't do any extra preparation for these trips. I'm also older and weaker so I rented an e-bike for all three trips. Meals and accommodations were most excellent. I especially enjoyed the quaint B&Bs and small hotels where we stayed. All of the tour leaders have been exceptional as well. I am looking forward to my next cycling adventure with Wilderness Voyageurs. I highly recommend them.

This was a wonderful introduction to New Mexico. The scenery was magnificent, both natural and manmade. Our accommodations were great. The food was delicious. My rental bike worked out perfectly with my own pedals and seat. The itinerary was full, including the tours and stops at various spots. Our guides worked to keep everybody well-supported throughout the trip. (This included changing 8 flat tires at our lunch stop on the first day and 4 more overnight.)
I would have enjoyed the trip even more, if it had been considerably cooler - maybe at a different time of year? Given the heat, perhaps we could have taken off earlier more mornings and had shorter lunch stops. Tweaking restaurant recommendations to reflect closures on certain days would have been helpful in Taos.
I would recommend that people stay at least an extra two days in Santa Fe, to enjoy seeing more of the sights there. This trip definitely left me wanting to return to New Mexico!!

While the lower rafting trip was enjoyable, I was disappointed. It was like a relaxing float trip with a few rapids thrown in.

Absolutely loved the trip on the Olympic Peninsula. Just the right balance of biking and hiking for our skill level. It didn't hurt that the weather was flawless, and our guides Jeremy and Matt were experts. The stay at the Bishop Hotel in Port Townsend was wonderful (no elevator, but no worries) and the lodge on Lake Crescent was excellent. We're both recent retirees who ride electric bikes around Atlanta, but were fine with regular bikes on this trip (except for a couple of brief hill failures). Wish I'd packed water shoes to wade in the creeks and lakes. We'd do it again!

1st time white water rafting and it couldn't have been any better. Gave us great instruction to make us feel comfortable and made the trip a blast for everyone. Didn't know what to expect but can't wait for my next trip. Our guide Osha really was the cherry on top. Super fun and she really knew what she was doing. Highly recommend!!!

My first whitewater rafting experience (even though I've kayaked, tubed, and canoed for years). We had a group of 12 and did the Lower Yough Guide Escorted trip. The trip was very well organized and led. We all had a great time and were surprised by how long the trip was. We found it challenging at times but great for beginners and those that have gone previously. Highly recommend Wilderness Voyageurs, there people were knowledgeable AND fun!

We did the Lower Youch guided trip and it was AMAZING! Our guide was fun, witty and experienced! He allowed us to jump oot of the raft (at a safe point) and float for a bit AND we climbed onto a big rock approx 20-30 feet from the water and JUMPED into the water!! I've done this trip 2 other times and by far this was the BEST!!

Michigan was a wonderful surprise. It was absolutely gorgeous. TJ and Rachel, our tour guides were amazing. They took great care of us on our cycling trip in the Northern Peninsula of Michigan. This is our second tour with Wilderness Voyagers and would highly recommend this company.

It varied by day, 30 to 50, no steep hills, just rocks and mud really need a mountain bike for parts of this trail. If it’s been raining the trail can be treacherous

Hello, clbalek, Are you all adults? The Lower Yough, is a class 3 section of river that is appropriate for most people. The minimum age is 12, and there are a variety of trip formats to choose from. The Lower Yough is available every day from now until the end of October. call our reservations office at 800-272-4141 to talk about the various trip formats that are available.

Are you referring to our 4 day GAP tour or the 6 day Pittsburgh to DC tour? The lodging is different on these trips.

Are any places along the GAP tour sites ones where bathrooms must be shared? My husband isn't keen on that.
