My husband & I are seniors & don’t even drink, but this attraction was recommended by B&B host. It is incredibly interesting & historical. Wear some good walking shoes & be able to go up stairs. When others are sampling beer at the end, you can get a birch! Our tour guide was well-informed & amusing & it’s free!!

We did the brewery tour today and it was great! Seeing the working operations of the oldest brewery in the US was pretty cool! Our tour guide was informative and answered everyone’s questions. I would highly recommend.

This tour is a journey into. America’s past. A fascinating tour ends with a tasting at the beautiful store. This is a wonderful day trip.

Great tour and nice shop and brew area. Throughly enjoyed the visit. Very friendly staff. Interesting education on one of the best breweries . I would go back!

Super tour of the oldest continuously active brewery in the US. Our tour guide Lily was great! It’s a very interesting and enjoyable tour, showing all the processes they go through to make the beer. Ended up in the tap room where we got to try a couple of samples. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the gift shop before the tour and staff couldn’t have been nicer!! Didn’t bring close toe shoes so I bought some and several T shirts and a cool hoody with not only a bottle opener, but cooler component!

This tour is the real deal! We got to go down in the original cool caves and tour areas - old and modern - where their beer is made. The tasting afterwards was great as we got to try some beer we haven’t tried. Our tour guide, Steven, was great! Highly recommend this tour.

Visiting Yuengling Brewery was an unforgettable experience that took us on a captivating journey back in time. The best part? It was completely free! The tour offered a fascinating exploration of the brewery’s rich history, immersing us in its heritage and showcasing the original spring caves. Our tour guide was truly awesome, providing engaging and insightful commentary throughout the one-hour experience.
As residents of Pennsylvania, we can’t believe it took us so long to visit this gem. Bringing the kids along made it an exceptional weekend trip, as they were able to witness the craftsmanship and tradition behind Yuengling beer. The cherry on top was the two complimentary pours at the end, allowing us to savor the flavors of this iconic brewery.

Visited the Blu restaurant and tavern. What a great experience. Michelle and her husband own and operate the business. Food was spectacular and the patrons were fun. Met an old high school friend that I have not seen in many years. This was a special treat since I had never been in Pottsville in my life.

This tour is interesting, informative and totally free! Be forewarned there are a lot of steps involved, but it was really cool to take the tour! We were there Memorial Day weekend, but I understand if you go during the week, you actually see them working. And they give you two free samples at the end of the tour! Tour lasted about an hour. Highly recommend!

No, but they do several tours a day, we got there for 1 and went out almost 15 mins later when our group filled up

Parking is limited around the brewery, however, with a couple trips around the block you can find parking spots close to the tour center. If you use the parking garage down the street, plan on an 'invigoratiing' climb up the hill - just in case someone has health issues.

Not sure, its been a while. However the caves beneath the brewery are a recent addition to the tour as they were bricked up during prohibition and the walls were breached just a short while ago. Perhaps the coolest part of the tour, no pun intended.

Most weekdays tours are at 10:00 and 1:30.
Tour Information and Guidelines Monday-Friday the tours leave promptly at the scheduled times.Check the calendar for the tour times.Saturday tours are very crowded. The first tour will go out at 11:00 and the last tour will go out at 1:00. The noon tour may leave before or after the intended hour, depending on the amount of people. Yuengling tour guides will share with you history of America’s Oldest Brewery and detailed information regarding the brewing process, however there is no production on Saturday’s.Tours last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.All ages are welcome. A valid ID is required to sample Yuengling products at the end of the tour. There is soda available for those under the age of 21 and visitors who prefer non-alcoholic beverages.All tour visitors must wear completely closed shoes. No sandals, flip flops, clogs, Crocs, anything with openings around your foot is unacceptable, must be a completely closed shoe.Pets are not permitted.Photographs are allowed. Video cameras, recorders or cell phones are permitted.Unfortunately, due to the age of the facility, the building is not handicapped accessible.Tourists are required to go up and down approximately 120 steps while on the tour. It is important for tourists with health problems to be aware of this when deciding to tour the facility. The steps are not all in the same building, and there are breaks along the way.
