We went probably off season, so the fresh flowers and the fall and winter exhibits were not available. Some live plants, but not like the internet portrays. I think during Christmas, it must be really nice because they have a light displays that appears to be all all year round.
The farm stor was too expensive, but it is Yardley. Average price on anything was $9.99 and very few items are marked, so you have to ask. I stated average price.
Will have to go back in the fall or around Christmas

If you want to see around a thousand different jellies, jams, pickles, salad dressings etc this place is for you! We bought a jam called Traffic Jam as a souvenir for a friend.

I recently went there with a school group. It was terrible. They let in completely too many people. I asked a worker while I was there about the number of students that were scheduled each day. She said that they let in up to 1500 students a day. The day that I was there she said there were only 1100. There were well over 100 students on the small playground at any given time. I feel like they are compromising the experience in favor of dollars. They must make money hand over fist already. I would not recommend this place for a school trip.

Grandkids absolutely loved this!! They where filled with Ah’s and oh’s the whole time - it was magical. It’s pricey but where can you take a whole car load for $40? The young ones loved it and I enjoyed watching them watch it - you drive at your own pace no one rushes you - you get to stay in your car and be warm and cozy. No walking! Highly recommend for a multi-generational event! Babies and old folk alike can enjoy this!

I never liked Shady Brook from Day 1. My family and friends always referred to them as the "Fake Farm" as you can go there, sip a glass of wine while waiting for your hoagie to made, all while booking a limo there, and looking at the PECO christmas lights. It's a joke. And when I seriously went there to get stone for landscaping, they brushed me off so they could cater to the Lanscaping Pros instead. So they don't care about people, only contractors who spend money on bulk. I will never consider the Fake Farm for any future needs. Enough time was wasted writing about this place.

My family and I enjoyed the light show. The lights were beautifully arranged for each car to see and enjoy the layout.
This light show is great for families with children, persons who are dating and anyone who enjoys lights at Christmas time.

Take out the paid advertising displays (Fred Beans Auto Dealership, for example) and stick to a theme. You might try Christmas...there's an idea. This display has too many irrelevant items that seem like they just put out everything they could find in storage,whether or not it followed a story or theme.
Also, I lived in the local area for nearly 30 years, and I first went to the light show when it was free. Then as they began to charge, I had no issue with paying $20.00. After not having gone for a few years, I drove in last night and found they wanted $50.00 now, which is outrageous for what they offer.
I have two tickets for Longwood Gardens this week, and they cost $27.00 each, so my wife and I, both seniors, will go to Longwood for a total of $54.00. Longwood is the top attraction of its type in the country, and is several times larger and more complicated than Shady Brook, and is superior in all ways by far compared to Shady Brook. For Shady Brook to think they are worth the same admission price as Longwood is just delusional and greedy. I won't be going to Shady Brook again, for anything.

Rip off!! Went last night to the light show. $50 per car. Same as every other year nothing new. Seems to be getting run down. Some displays weren’t even lit. Very disappointed especially for the money. Never again.

$50 PER CAR?!?!? First of all, there is absolutely NOTHING special about their light show. They look like the kind people have in their front lawns! FIFTY DOLLARS?!?! They DOUBLED their admission fee from $25-$30-FIFTY within THREE YEARS and added/improved absolutely NOTHING. Don’t get hoodwinked by this greedy establishment and take your family, and hard earned money elsewhere.

Went to the light show last night but never made it in because the fee has gone up to $ 50.00 a car! Holy S#&t!! They are getting insane.

Since you drive thru this attraction in your car, there probably is no restriction concerning dogs.
Any suggestions for a restaurant to go to after the light show? Nothing too expensive and kid friendly.

We went to some place not too far in New Jersey called Sebastian's Schnitzelhaus and it sucked. So dont go there.

We tried to go to the light show last year and sat in a line of cars for 2 hours! We still couldn't even see the entrance so we turned around and went home sad. We live about 45 min away... Any advice on how to avoid this? We really want to take our toddler here this year! Thanks in advance!

Hello and thanks for your interest! We are sorry that you weren't able to visit our Holiday Light Show last year and hope we can offer some advice for this time around. Avoid weekends if you can, especially the closer it gets to Christmas. If you are coming on a Fri., Sat. or Sun., try to get here as close to 5pm as you can. It definitely gets busier as the night goes on. We offer an early season mid week coupon on our website. And we agree that the wagon ride is the best way to see the lights. That gets busy on the weekends as well so, again, if you can get here by 5pm that's your best bet for avoiding the crowds. Hope that helps!

The farm is open year round and had a shop where you can buy food and some groceries.
We have an hour and a half drive but we are interested in it. How long is it? Time and distance?

Are you asking about the holiday light show? I would say you can drive through it in 20 minutes, depending on how long the line is and how enchanted people are by each item. I would say a maximum of 40 minutes and 2 miles long would be my guess. Visit the shadybrookfarm website to find coupons and additional information.

I went to see the Christmas Lights with my family. Rain would not have been nice, because there are some things to do outside. But, the family decided to do just the "drive through" Christmas Light display and we thought that was wonderful. I would say do not let the rain stop you, see the lights and enjoy as much as you can.
