‪Do the tour - you’ll be glad you did!‬
‪What a great introduction to Charleston. Learning about the city’s history and culture on foot was truly a treat. This has everything to do with our guide Steve Bailey who had all the things: vast knowledge of local and regional history, friendliness, and the perfect balance of humor and solemnity. The fact that he grew up in Charleston and seemed to know every other person we passed in the street was icing on the cake! Our group proudly did not incur any fines for blocking the sidewalk though none of us wanted to miss a word he said during this packed and enjoyable 2 hours. A+‬

‪Local Guide Added Flavor to the Tour‬
‪Guide was knowledgeable and gave first hand accounts of being a 7th generation South Carolinian. Talked about historic and present day events and related personal stories that added to the experience. It would have been a little better if he used a voice enhancing device so it was easier to hear.‬

‪Wonderfully engaging tour experience‬

‪My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. The weather happened to be perfect, and we were grateful for a knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging guide who led us in a small group. I would highly recommend this tour to thers.‬

‪Mark is a gem. He's the perfect mix of a tour guide! He's engaging, funny (not corny) and very informational. Learned a lot about Charleston's history. Loved seeing up close the homes and charming walkways.‬

‪Our recent back alley walking tour exceeded all expectations. Our knowledgeable guide, Capt. Jim, led us through hidden passageways and narrow alleys, revealing the fascinating history and secrets of the city. Not only did we learn about the city's rich heritage, but also gained a deeper appreciation for its vibrant culture. The tour was well-paced, allowing for ample time to soak in the atmosphere and snap memorable photos. I highly recommend this back alley walking tour to anyone seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure filled with intrigue and discovery.‬

‪tour was educational and entertaining. our tour guide, Dennis, is clearly passionate about his job. he is also highly professional; one of the members of the group suffered a medical emergency during the tour, but his calm response and ability to resume the tour afterward were appreciated. this is our second Lowcountry tour and we are duly impressed. highly reccomended.‬
