Had a great deep tissue massage today with Mike C. All I can say is do it you won’t be disappointed. I get massages regularly at home in the St Louis area so I know a good one when I get one. This is the best massage I’ve had while on Hilton Head Island and I’ve tried several. Mike used heated stones to help massage my tired aching muscles and he definitely found all the knots. I’ll be back and can’t recommend enough

I found this online, I had no personal recommendations but read these great reviews....and they are right. I had one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had with Mike. He has you fill out a quick questionnaire before starting which includes how much conversation you like, which I also loved. It was peaceful and super therapeutic. I wish he lived in our hometown, but I'll be sure to come back whenever we're in Hilton Head.

Mike is amazing, kind, patient, very knowledgeable, has a talent to find your sore spots you did not even know existed but may be the root of your aches and pains. His great wealth of knowledge of anatomy, the muscular and skeletal system, trigger points are second to none and your body will thank you for going with this massage therapist. Plenty of parking available, easy online booking, relaxing music, warm massage bed, etc.

Michael is an outstanding massage therapist. His in depth knowledge of human anatomy gives him the skill set to focus on techniques to relax and eliminate pain.

Had a wonderful experience and felt secure knowing the spa was using all the precautions. My temp was taken, hand sanitizer given and mask were worn. It was great being able to go have an awesome massage.

Best massage I’ve ever had; it is more like preventative medicine. Mike is so knowledgeable and can address whatever issues you are having. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and attention to details regarding Covid-19. Masks, no-touch temperature recordings, hand sanitizer, and extra time between appointments for further cleaning, all made me feel safe.

Mike was incredibly professional in our most recent experience at Back in Balance. Everything was immaculate...There were no other clients in the building and was following very strict protocols in response to COVID. He was in a mask, took temperature, and had signage in regards to client expectations and responsibilities to keep everyone safe. Mike's massage was so incredible, as always!

I sent my husband to Mike while on vacation based on the reviews and the massage was stellar. My husband is a cyclist and came back raving about how Mike knew absolutely everything about the correct pressure and approach. Recommended without reservation.
