Great historical location. Clean and educational Recommend for all ages. Interesting Sad they have to have gates to keep bad people out.

This is a nice small ruin with a few gravestones. There's not much to it so I wouldn't suggest a special trip to see it but if it's not too far out of your way, it's a lot of fun. I'm not sure where you're supposed to park but there is room for a car or two in front of the gate.

Very nice piece of history. Out in the country.Pon Pon chapel is off of a dirt road. Very old tombstones.

Pon Pon Chapel of Ease has been on my 'to-see' list for quite a while so when we happened to be in the area volunteering on an archaeological program, we stopped by Pon Pon. The 1832 ruins are a site to behold. Preservation work is currently being done to the property but we were still able to visit and get photos. If you find yourself in the area you definitely need to make the time to stop and visit Pon Pon Chapel of Ease, it's breathtaking!

The ruins were honestly way cooler than expected. It's really in the middle of nowhere and parking is weird. The ruins are really amazing. They're in the midst of some sort of preservation so some areas are off limits but it was still worth it.

This is something pretty to visit if you're in the area (like others, I wouldn't make a special trip out there.) We've been down this road many times fishing but I never knew this was there too. Unfortunately, its currently temporarily closed due to damage from Hurricane Matthew late last year. It's not permanent (they are currently working on it) but you can't get past the gate until its reopened.

I wouldn't make a special trip out here for this, but if you are out in the vicinity it is definitely worth the stop. The ruins are older than the Sheldon ruins and it feels much eerier here, sort of creepy even on the brightest, most sunny day. It was definitely interesting to see!

Great place to visit & explore! Easy to miss. The actual site is 1 mile N/E from the Historical Marker.
