What a grand experience for me and my wife. it's a small car museum but is a treasure trove of information about cars from a gone by era. if you like muscle cars you will want to go thru the museum one time and then keep going right thru it again to pick up all the interesting tidbits you missed the first time. They have all makes and models of cars so there is something for everyone. My Son in law (who is an engineer for Ford in Dearborn) and my 16 year old grandson, spent a couple hours in there just digesting all the memorial. What a nice time we had. You end the tour in very nice gift shop that sells hard to find models of those muscle cars we all had way back in the 60s and 70s. It's well worth the price.

This place was awesome. The manager was very knowledgeable regarding all the cars on display and gift shop merchandise.

Some very interesting cars, but pretty much only represents the 60s and 70s. There is a Model T but don't expect to see any cars from the 20s, 30s, or 40s (a few from the 50s). Cars are wedged into this building so tightly that you cannot even walk around them. They need a lot more space.

Very cool display of over 50 cars and trucks. The couple that owns them lives in NC but swaps out 20 or so cars every January so the display rotates. The gentleman who works there said the owners have over 150 cars and trucks.

My family enjoyed our visit to Wheels of Yesteryear. The cars are nicely displayed and the staff was friendly and informative. They change out the cars, so we will go again next summer and enjoy a different experience. If you like cars, you will enjoy this place!

Took my wife and 20-year-old son to Wheels of Yesteryear and it was a great experience. The Manager Craig was super knowledgeable and coincidentally we shared the same first name. There was a nice collection of classic cars including a 1986 Buick Grand National which was my high school age dream car. They have a small store where you can purchase apparel or diecast collectibles. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my size for the shirt I wanted but other than that we had a great time. If you are a classic car junky, this is your place. Variety of Makes but being a Mopar Man, I was in Heaven.

This museum is amazing. Seeing all the cars from the 50’s to now is a must see. The gift shop is nice too with rare cars like the Batmobile.

There are over a hundred cars and it does depend on how interested you are in reading all the info. If not you can do a good viewing in about an hour.
Are you able to take a picture sitting in a car?

No you are not. There are signs all over saying please do not open doors or hoods.

No need for a reservation, their hours are listed on trip advisor, that’s where I found them, just show up when they’re open and enjoy.

Ok, let's go comparison shopping. To attend the Gateway Canyons Resort Auto Museum the admission charge is $15. No senior discount. Further, Discovery Channels founder and Owner of the resort, John Hendricks, has his museum in the middle of nowhere. Rooms average $500 per night and you have to fly into Grand Junction and drive an hour to see it.
No, I don't think so.....think what? Requirement to enjoy this Myrtle Beech venue is you must love historic and legendary automobiles.

The cost for adults is $10 plus tax, and kids age 8-15 $7 plus tax. No charge for age 7 and under.

Thanks for your interest. The museum is open from 10 am until 6 pm every day. From Garden City, you would take Hwy 17 North the Why 501. Take the 501 toward Conway, and we are located just off Hwy 501. Turn right at Waccamaw Pines Drive, then right again on Hospitality Lane. We are beside a car dealership which is adjacent to the MyrtleBeach Speedway.
