This was a very nice addition to our Bristol trip. Multiple walking trails with different intensities. You could easily spend a day here.

A lovely place to view the fall foliage! My children loved the spooky train ride. The train conductor was friendly and a delight to talk with about the history of the park.

this park is a Tennessee gem. in the fall, the leaves color the water and they paint the prettiest picture on the lake’s surfaces.

This place is fantastic. The park is huge and there are so many trails. There was a very nice nature center that we started out in. Be very mindful of the maps. There are different symbols representing different kinds of trail. We started out on a nice wide trail walking along the water. Beautiful. At the back of the trail - it changed to a more challenging very wooded trail. We conquered it. For being 65, I did quite well. Lots of climbing up and coming down. Trails were thinner but it was a beautiful walk and it is nicely marked with symbols on the trees. Very impressive park. We only did one color of trail, but there were many to choose from. In the beginning of the trail, there were so many turtles to see in the water. Loved it

Fabulous park! Well worth a $2 entry fee. The Nature Center is totally free; paddle boat rides $1 per person for 30 minutes! Lots of picnic tables, grills, shelters, playgrounds! Highly recommend.

Paid our $2 and got to see a beautiful park. Many kids having fun, and just being kids. Park was very clean and easy to navigate.

October 15, 2022 attended wedding at Steele Creek Lodge. Venue was made even more stunning by the breathtaking fall colors in the rolling hills around the lake. Too pretty for words. Lodge looks like a log cabin nestled in the woods. Parking was ample, lodge offers indoor and outdoor seating and the indoor has a large rock fireplace for picture taking/staging. Ample room for tables and dancing inside and out. There were about 50 people attending and the space was perfect. Ceremony outside and reception inside, just steps away. Lovely place. $2.00 entry fee per car at the front gate, which is unbeatable! Love Steele Creek.

It’s a lovely park with a nice walking trail. There are always lots of people on the trail. We go there whenever we are in the area.

We really enjoyed this park! Caught some fish, rode the paddle boats, walked along the trail and had ice cream - two thumbs up from the 8yo. The only downer was that the train was out of commission (mechanical issue) but that couldn’t be helped. Would definitely go back.

Nice creek with rapids, and grassy recreation areas. The creek is bounded on one side by private dwellings. A small golf course is on the grounds as well.

Can You put a small boat in the water there? Is there a boat ramp?

Yes. They do have a dock, and we saw some people putting boats into the water.

There used to be a roped off area of the lake for swimming and a diving board platform. Is that gone and swimming not allowed?

Yes there used to be a rope, many years ago. But then the lake was unsafe for swimming and they took it down. Many years later, the lake is now safe, but I don't believe swimming is yet allowed, but not totally sure, however, when walking for the last several years I have not seen anyone swimming in the lake even though it's clean water.

No, not to my knowledge. There is no pool and you cannot swim in the lake that I know of.

There is a children's splash pool that opened last summer. It really is for little kids. There's a big lake with a beach and I guess you could swim in it. There are paddle boats and canoes also.
Does this park have grilles?

Yes, there are grilles in places with picnic tables on both sides of the park being Steele Creek Park and the other end is Rooster Front Park.
