Two floors of amazing hands on activities with outdoor play as well. Staff were very engaged. The kids did not want to leave. Highly recommend for ages 2+

Amazing place for our kids to play and learn at. You could easily spend the entire day at the museum. While you are there get the year pass so easy and if you are from out of town like we are stay at the Hilton garden inn right beside it.

As a seasoned traveler and enthusiast of exploration, I had the pleasure of visiting the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN, and it was an experience that left an indelible mark on my heart. This enchanting museum truly stands as a beacon of inspiration and learning for both children and adults alike.
From the moment we stepped through the doors, I could sense that this was not an ordinary museum. The atmosphere was filled with an air of excitement and wonder, perfectly tailored to cater to young minds eager to discover the world around them. My 4-year-old grandson accompanied me on this adventure, and watching his eyes light up with curiosity and awe was an unforgettable experience in itself.

There was lots to do here for our 9 and 6 year old sons. We arrived around 3:30 PM and had about 90 minutes to play before they closed. We could have used about 30-60 minutes to play. There was lots to see and do, but there was a little bit of a crowd so there was some waiting involved. We parked in the garage about 5 minutes away when you walk. We had a great time with the varied exhibits: music, cultures, clean energy, rockets, bees, water play, dinosaurs, physical play, and more. Pricing was quite reasonable.

My kids loved this place. We spent the whole day here with a break for lunch at a local spot. There are so many amazing things for the kids to do. Make plans to spend a whole day here!

Brought my daughter (3.5 year old) and she absolutely loved it. It was super crowded on a rainy June day. Tons to do for most ages of child. Lots of it was over her head, but she had a blast nonetheless. We spent 2.5 hours here.

We had a great visit to this museum. It was so interactive and there is much for everyone to do! My niece who is five had a blast! Us adults also had a great time.

It was fun but needs stuff for older kids and the water was fun but the upper star’s playground could be better but the food there was good

This is such an awesome museum for families with young kids. The interactive nature of the museum makes it unique and worth going over and over again. Wonderful set up and exhibits! Would 100/10 recommend to anyone traveling to this area.

Overcrowded. A racket. My kids loved it (age 5-10). Many exhibits are closed or not working. Do not recommend. We knew it was a mistake as soon as we pulled up but it was too late bc the kids saw and were excited.

Would this be fun for an almost 1 year old who can crawl and stand but not quite walk yet?

It’s borderline. There are a ton of hands on things to do. He wouldn’t understand the reason behind any of the exhibits but he’d enjoy the exhibit itself. For example... sand pit in dinosaur area, water and boats in water flow area, music in instrument area.

It is not bad if they have never been but he Ian at the upper end of the age limit in my opinion. My 12year old gets bored but we have an annual pass. He only likes to go when they change up exhibits to see what they have out. If he takes a friend he would like it more.

I have an 8 year old and a 15 month old. Would this museum be fun at their ages?

My wife and I feel they would love it. But, it would be optimal if 2 adults or a buddy for the 8 year old could go. The exhibits, in our opinion, tried to stage for each age and had some for all ages. Your 15 month old will probably not want to leave the water exhibit nor the play house. Let them wear clothes that can get wet and are comfortable for playing. If you like to have fun, you are going to love the Creative Discovery Museum! You can even play in the exhibits yourself. They have elevators for strollers, wheelchairs, etc. Have a wonderful time.
Would a 1 year old be able to enjoy any exhibits?

This was all we did one day on our vacation... I think we were there for about 4 hours... and my daughter still wasn't ready to leave. I don't think we even saw the dinosaur exhibit... it was amazing!!!!
