‪Would have given a higher review however truly disappointed in too many wats.
1. They say to be there 1 hr. Early yet the boat didnt even show up till 25 min. Prior to leaving!
2.There were NO signs...markers to show where you board! Had to wait nearly an hour with no where to sit, use a bathroom etc! Boarding site changed due to an event near the regular boarding area and only being told to be under the Market St bridge. There was a boat dock where EVERYONE waited only to have the boat pull in at a random ramp 100 ft. away!
3. I specifically called because we were bring our 90 and 91 yr old parents celebrating their 72 Anniversary yet they had to stand for nearly an hour in the hot sun then made to walk far too far without any clear directions on where to board, then were last to board due to NO directions then told to CLIMB 2 steep stairwells to finally be able to sit in the last seats on the boat in the hot sun!
The only reason this got any stars as the boat ride was nice (nothing extraordinary) and the entertainment was pleasant.
Drinks were over priced and they only throw in a MINI Moon Pie not a Moon Pie.
For $43 pp (incl a booking fee that ridiculous), I'd recommend a different adventure to anyone considering this. Chattanooga has too many other options to choose from and this isn't worth it.
We won't be back.‬

‪Nothing to really talk about‬

‪It was pleasant and the staff was very friendly but really not worth the money... we got the silver package but woyld have loved something to drink besides alcohol, we dont drink alcoholic beverages so it seemed our only option was the water. The entertainment was only available on the top deck and it was too crowded... we paid for what i thought was the nicer seats but it really didn't work out that way. We had a good time being together but nothing really special about the boat ride which was almost 600 dollars for 7 people... would have been nice to at least had a coke 🙄. Oh well live a learn. Glad we went but wouldn't do it again.‬

‪Great way to see Tennessee River‬

‪My husband & I went on the Southern Belle Riverboat cruise, a relaxing afternoon cruise. The Captain was friendly, did a great narrative about the river, bridges & area. Engaged the children on board.
A lovely way to spend a sunny day.‬

‪It was perfect weather for a beautiful boat ride around Chattanooga we really appreciated our Captain (Matt) who was personable and knowledgeable. The views are just incredible. I recommend sitting on the upper deck if it’s a nice day.‬

‪It was ok but definitely not something I’d recommend. It’s boring, dirty & the staff is fairly rude with the exception of our captain who was nice. I think if you read through their refund policy it’s quite easy to see what kind of a vibe you’ll be getting. You’ll see just as much for free by walking across the pedestrian bridge. ‬

‪Absolutely delightful afternoon River your with friends on the Southern Belle. Easy drive from North Atlanta suburbs.

Lots of unique TN gifts in the gift shop. Once on the boat we sat on an upper deck. Everyone had a wonderful view. The Captain gave a very informative history chat about the area and he was funny too.
Didn’t get 5 stars because the restroom in the gift shop was not ver clean.‬

‪Cruising Down the River‬

‪The company was great to work with, even with our last minute reservation. They graciously accommodated our request to seat us with friends who had previously made reservations. The food was very good, as was the entertainment in the indoor lounge. Great commentary along the way. I wish we had known sooner that the commentary could not be heard in the lounge but required stepping outside. From a former resident's perspective, this boat trip is a wonderful addition to the city's visitor attractions.‬

‪Ripoff. Tourist Trap. False Advertisement. Total disappointment.‬

‪This is a tourist trap. I bought tickets for my mom and myself because she loves sunsets. We paid $100 for the most unscenic boat ride of my life. The banks of the river were nothing but houses. I mean nothing scenic or interesting happened on this boat. The website had this gorgeous picture of pink, yellow, and purple skies. We departed at 6p and arrived back at the dock at 7:30p. The sun did not set until 8:20p. They also have a zero refund clause and I now know why. They should be ashamed to call it a sunset cruise unless it’s in the winter.‬

‪Slow cruise up and down TN river‬

‪This cruise is better suited for families with little kids or retired senior citizens. The boat goes about a mile down the river without any narration or commentary, and then turns around and goes in the opposite direction with the captain's commentary.

Definitely not a cruise for teens or young adults because they will get bored onboard!‬
