They always seem to have what most nurseries do not. I wish someone would give them some competition. I would have given them 5 stars but they are out of control with their pricing. This place is all about money. Too bad. There’s some good nurseries in McMinville, but they are about 1.5 hrs out of Chattanooga, and The Barn knows that. Hence the high prices. A cashier once confirmed that fact while I was checking out. This is an excellent nursery outside of their ridiculous pricing. I no longer go there unless I need a particular species nobody else has. The main reason this place has stock is because few are willing to pay their high prices.

Definitely the local go-to place for landscaping, from patio furniture to containers (some as large as barrels and much pricier), and garden decor to all sorts of plants - annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees. Includes showcase Japanese maples worthy of an alarm system. Had fun photographing the two large dragon statues. When the local big-box stores don't have what you want, this is the place to go.

The nursery seemed to have raised their prices on most selections. I use to love coming here but the pricing is outrageous and doubtful I will come back

While visiting Chattanooga my friend and I saw The Barn Nursery from the highway and decided to stop there. We both agreed it’s a good place to visit if you are in Chattanooga. It’s much more than just a nursery. They have an amazing selection of flower pots as well as plants. We also enjoyed their large gift shop. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful and courteous.

This place is fantastic. There are more flowers, plants, outside statues, bird baths, and everything you ever wanted in your house and garden than you can imagine. It’s like a wonderland. You can’t leave without something that strikes your fancy. Great all year round.

Love this place. Flowers, bushes, trees, T shirts, Flag poles, all kinds of garden tools..... you name it. The Barn has it! their entire staff is absolutely wonderful... ask them anything about planting what .... when...how...

We saw the Barn Nursery as we drove along I-24 east of downtown Chattanooga, and it looked so expansive and colorful that we had to stop, and I am so glad we did. We found so many wonderful treasures for our home and gardrn. The beautiful succulents in an intriguing feather light concrete pot will be a great focal point in our garden. We also found the best selection of miniature plants and accessories for our fairy garden. Whatever you are looking for, they probably have it. The staff are attentive and very helpful. Wish we had had more time explore this garden wonderland.

Plants, plants, and of course flowers. I have never seen or been to such a huge garden center. Sells patio sets, flower bed decor, seeds, nice section of succulents, and containers

We saw this place off the interstate while on our way to Pigeon Forge. My mom was with us and I promised her we would stop on our way home. We did and she was one happy plant person! This place is HUGE and a MUST STOP if you love plants or are looking for really nice gifts for someone or yourself. I did not price everything in the place and it was SO MUCH but what we bought was extremely reasonable and we will return. It was extremely clean, well organized and...did I say HUGE? We loved it!!

Over priced...tomatoes for example. $3.99 for one plant! Otherwise, it’s a larger store with many selections with friendly and helpful staff
