Worth the drive and the visit. Very friendly. Lots to see abundance of tools. You definitely find something,

For my sister's birthday, I took her antiquing south of Nashville, TN. We had a hard time finding places open because we went on a Monday. We had given up and were heading back to Chattanooga when this place popped up on our search. It said it was 12 minutes off the interstate, so we decided to go. We were SO glad we did! It ended up being the highlight of our day!
GPS led us there with no problem. Be advised, it's a bit curvy going over the back roads to get there, but easy to find and a pretty drive through the country. Towards the destination, there are "Antiques" signs pointing you in the right direction.
The antiques are housed in a large metal barn with others in several outbuildings and more on the porch of the house. Dale came out to meet us and was very helpful. He offered to turn heat on, but we said no. He turned on lights and opened a large metal door to let in more light. When we asked a price on an item, he went to ask Elsie, and she came out, too.
This place is jam-packed, and it's absolutely worth taking your time to look around. They were quite happy for us to take our time & were there when we needed help, but otherwise they left us to explore at our pace. When we would ask about something, they could tell us where something similar was. It's very clear they know their stock and want you to find what you're looking for--with absolutely no pressure or hovering.
Their prices are very reasonable. I bought quite a few items because the more I looked, the more I saw! :)
Dale & Elsie are an absolutely delightful couple! We really enjoyed chatting with them. When they found out it was my sister's birthday, they invited us in for cake & coffee, but we needed to head home. We truly wished we'd had time to take them up on their offer. We kept exclaiming all the way home what a really lovely couple they are & how glad we were that we decided to go. What could have been a slightly disappointing day ended up being totally memorable, thanks to Dale & Elsie!
