Wheelchairs can go fo the Signal Station over the Bridge but it is a steep hard push back. Some of the cliff paths are not accessible. They either have steps or are too steep. There is an observation platform which looks down over the Bridge to the Signal Station and also up the coast to the Beara Peninsula. There is a seat there. The path to that is flat. The Visitor Centre near the car park is accessible except for one room upstairs. The cafe and shop are accessible. There is an accessible toilet too. There is plenty to do and see. Enjoy your visit.

Hello - yes it is safe for children to walk . It may be a bit far for them to do all the walk . You can be selective though . No drinks available on the walks. No toilets either once you have started!!

I agree with the above just doing both last month but I will say if you can fit in Mizen Head too it will be worth it!

It is difficult to access the Mizen by public transport. There is an expressway bus to Goleen, about 10 Kms from Mizen. There is a company who do tours from Cork to the Mizen. .obriencoaches check that address on the bottom of the home page on our website. Otherwise you could get a taxi from Goleen ,but that is expensive. Let me know how you get on and if it is too difficult, we will try to think of another solution.

Yes, we were amazed to see a paved path that was wide enough for both a stroller or a wheelchair to enjoy the wonderful view.

Bonjour, je réponds avec un peu de retard. Pour ma part je n'ai pas vu d'itinéraire bis ! Pour aller jusqu'au bout de la pointe et passer le fameux pont il faut descendre puis remonter nous n'avons vu que des escaliers. Il y a une rampe qui va jusqu'au dessus du pont où il n'est pas nécessaire de gravir des marches mais ce n'est qu'un échantillon du spectacle qui nous attend de l'autre côté du pont sur la pointe (et c'est dommage de payer une visite pour n'en voir qu'un petit bout) ! Notamment la perspective vers le nord et là il faut grimper. Nous avons été forcé de faire la visite au pas de course mais je pense qu'en prenant son temps c'est plus agréable. J'espère que j'ai pu vous aider et que mes informations sont correctes.
