‪Visited on a cold day but it was well worth the visit. Lovely laid out gardens and great views out to the channel. Lots of Spring flowers and colour. Worth the little walk out of the way.‬

‪Both the lower and upper gardens are a delight with the camellias bursting with colour. The views across the harbour and between Herm and Sark to France are great on a clear winter day‬

‪These gardens are very close to the centre of St Peter Port and worth a visit. Good easy walking and lots of floral interest.‬

‪"Pleasant and Peaceful"‬

‪Both flat,grassy parkland,which also houses a museum,gift shop and cafe,also statues of Victor Hugo and Queen Victoria and sunken gardens with ornamental ponds containing fish.Bench seating is also dotted around the park.
A pleasant way to spend an hour or two on a sunny day,all for free!‬

‪Not worth the climb uphill on its own but worth it with the other attractions‬

‪I would have been disappointed if I had made the climb from St Peter Port just for these gardens as they are more public park than formal gardens, but they are worth walking around if you have come here for the museum or the nearby tower. A pleasant enough green space with a small formal garden section you do get good views of the harbour from here. But if it’s views you are after I would recommend getting the key from the museum to climb the nearby tower.‬

‪This is a very well laid out and well kept public park close to the museum. In England these types of ornamental gardens seemed to have died out due to cost cutting. You can enjoy a pleasant walk with some good views from the gardens. I understand that the historic greenhouses which are closed to the public are going to be restored.‬

‪Lovely, tranquil place to visit‬

‪Very nice gardens, tea room and old historic library. Easy parking nearby with a disc, which is easily obtained for the whole of your Guernsey stay. Museum was very informative.‬
