Can't miss the Town Church as it is beside the harbor, opposite the Prince Albert Statue near Prince Albert Pier. On the outside of the church is a plaque noting that one of Canada's military heroes, St. Isaac Brock, was born on the island and attended this church. Inside, the stained glass windows are eye catching with their large colored glass images which had been paid for by locals or organizations. I liked the one showing a sailing ship and another with a nativity scene. The main large glass window was replaced in 1949. Judging by the floor tiles, it became evident that one part of this small church was older than the other, larger main part due to the noticeable memorials inscribed on the floor where burials had occurred many years ago. This section also had wall memorials for locals who had passed away many years ago. We snapped a few pictures and left shortly. No entry fee and no one in the church to supervise visitors.

Anglican Church of St.Peter Port,a very compact Church,situated just by the harbour,very ornate,free to enter,lovely stained glass windows,built 13th/14th century,although earlier church on this spot,well worth having a look inside!

Used Le petit Train to go around & see the town & it's sights, not bad value £ 7 each, & included very interesting commentary of the history & views.

We admired the plaques commemorating the various notable parishioners. We also enjoyed the nice architecture of the building that offers free access. The church even provided a free pamphlet, albeit we could not find the English version.

This church is the closes to any tavern in all the UK. Inside is small but the stain glass is very nice. It is free to walk in and explore.

We enjoyed walking around the town and came upon this little town church. The flowers around the church are beautiful . I couldn’t help but capture a picture.

First visit in 3 years and forgot how lovely this church is inside. A most beautiful alter and some of the most beautiful stained glass windows you can see.

An average Church that is worth calling into when passing. I always raise an eyebrow when they have all the card “tap and go” technology on full display as you enter. Definitely worth a look, but does not stand out from the crowd.

interesting . friendly. would visit again. Lovely Coach Trip right around the island for only £5 per person

I love coming here when visiting. The exterior does not do justice to the interior. This is a beautiful church inside with a most stunning alter and stained glass windows.

Bonjour,
j'organise un voyage scolaire a Guernesey avec des élèves de 6 a 4ém sous forme d'une chasse au trésor.
afin de rédiger mon énigme pouvez vous me confirmer que le coin "THE" est permanent ainsi que l'espace jeux pour enfant ?
ceci me semble vraiment parfait pour rechercher un tout autre monument et va susciter des questionnement.
pouvez vous poster une photo de ces espaces pour le moins originaux dans une église;
