It’s a nice looking lake. Don’t get me wrong. But. No dogs. £15 to fish for the day. For 1 lake.
45 mins down the road in saltash. You can fish 4 lakes for £10…… with dogs and bigger fish.
I can’t judge the fishing. But. As a potential customer. £15 for a small lake in a public park that doesn’t allow dogs by the lake is not good. What a shame.

i just popped in to see the lake to check it out for fishing i was there for 5 minutes saw a heard of 50 deer about 10 cock pheasants 3 mandarin ducks' canada geese, swans plus loads of song birds and the road in took me to within 20 ft of the lake

As parks go this is errr disappointing. Its merely a dog walking field with a shoddy small fishing lake that's been taped off into sections, removing all trace of any natural beauty. We were waiting to find ducks tangled in all the garish yellow taping.
No toilets.
Very little to see.
And the unrelaxing hum of the A38.

Can’t actually walk near or see the lake other then one gateway. Other than that just a grass area and concete paths.

Great local park to walk around which is flat and spacious. A good area to get to multiple different way and you can walk further through the local lanes. Car parking and fishing available.

Joined PADAC Plymouth and District Angling Club beginning of the year after a long spell of not fishing joined with my son Steven we had not been fishing together for a very long time. First day fishing Filham Park bingo some lovely carp were caught I had 4-5 ranging in weight from 1-4lb it was a great day. Fishing is a great way of bonding with your children and having great fun!!!!

Free parking, a good place to have a sort walk with the dogs, but mind where you walk because some people don’t pick up after themselves.
The fishing lakes got some lovely Carp and other species of fish and fish permits are available from The Watermark, Ivybridge.

Lovely place to walk and relax the only thing that lets it down is people not picking there dog mess up very frustrating.

Free parking, walk around fishing lake, lovely. But turn left and go by cricket pitch and walk perimeter of field and forget relax and imagine an area that apart from a few benches has probably looked same for years. I can simply chill so for me it’s a wonderful place. Try it.

free car park at the entrance to the park, fishing lake (not sure how that works as I don't fish) I come here to walk my dogs, there are lots of places for them to run about and not get in other peoples way. A stream runs down the right side, so if your dogs like having a dip, they can cool off in it (not deep) a nice flat walk with a path that runs through the middle so you don't have walk o the grass if you don't want to
