A beautiful peaceful setting. Very interesting grave yard which I found quite moving. I went looking for the Devils Blue Stone and couldn’t find it although I wandered round the whole church yard several times. I decided to check on line for more information and I found it not far from the church entrance. It is supposed to have been thrown all the way from the Isle of May by the Devil who was unhappy about the church being built! Anyway- he missed!
I would have loved to have spent sometime inside the church but unfortunately it wasn’t open.

This church is very pretty and it has a wonderful graveyard which is very neat and old which I like.

The church steeple is gorgeous just the bit where people sit in is a bit basic. The church yard is great too.

The church was closed when I visited, but it was the churchyard i wanted to see after reading about it in the little museum in Crail. Parking directly outside. The older graves are most unusual, many are badly eroded now, but there are glimpses of how they would have looked. Some are very tall and impressive, most have ornate carvings. The House of the Dead seems rather chilling these days!
There is a very well presented WW11 War Graves section. and some graves from WW1 fatalities.
A lovely, peaceful resting place. I would have liked to have had a copy of the information available in the museum to have guided me around the graves.

Had a walk round this church surrounded by a very old graveyard . There is plenty of parking at the front gate and also round the back . Their is a very active congregation raising money for good causes. . The graveyard is well maintained . The Sunday service is at 11.15 am ,

Great and most friendly people I have met,you are made very welcome.The coffee mornings when they are on are exceptional,tables outside with umbrella service great.The church is very old and you are encouraged to look around.

I visited the graveyard as research into my family tree and although I was not successful in finding any actual headstones relating to my family it is worth a visit. The graveyard is part of the Crail museum tour & extra information provided by the guide is very interesting indeed.

I moved here 5 years ago. The Church is one reason I moved to Crail. It is from medical times. It has a wonderful feeling when you enter. In August there is daily tours which I highly recommend. It is a sure place to visit when you visit Crail.

Earliest know church here was in 1160 .Concecrated in 1243 there are still parts of the original in the grounds .An addition to the Tower was added in 1500. ....1517 saw it become a collegiate |church . The Church has had many alterations and renovations over the centuries . The Graveyard itself has many interesting gravestones and a memorial to William Bruce of Symbister. Entry to the Church is through a 1st and 2nd world war memorial arch with a bronze plaque of names on either pillar of the arch . The church itself is highly active in the area with a web site and facebook page
