We visited on a Pilgrimage of 44 people and cannot say how wonderful the experience was.
Perfectly serene, holy and religious place with wonderful shrines and gardens, well worth a visit.
We had a Mass in the Glass Chapel which a really beautiful holy experience led by our wonderful Priest Father Roy.
The shop has some lovely religious gifts and also well worth a visit, we will definitely return again next year - absolutely beautiful place to be.

Beautiful place for all categories and for everyone. Walking is easy not need special shoes (hacking boots) . parking it’s free. Have nice shop with lots of catholic ornaments and presents for love one. Sure I will back

Carfin Grotto has been a special place of peace, serenity and prayer for almost a hundred years. Whether you want to go alone, with a loved one, family, friends or part of a pilgrimage it is ideal. It is open all year round, free to use for as long as you need. It is not just for Catholics as all people are welcome. This is a very special place with a wonderful history. You will not be disappointed by visiting.

I visited on Tuesday 15th February and had a lovely walk round then popped into the Church and shop. A lovely lady in the shop and very helpful. I then popped over the road for Mass with the Spiritan Fathers. I'm hoping to return soon.

Remember when I was young and made my first holy communion we went with the school all of us a d walked round the grounds now I love just walking and sitting taking it all in and li ed the cafe as well .

This is a beautiful place. Very well maintained, tranquil, a place of prayer and of peace. Everyone is welcomed with smiles and a greeting and you are welcome to wander the grounds, praying or simply refreshing your spirit, or you can sit and let your mind slow down.
The grounds are beautifully kept, with well manicured lawns and graceful trees.
If you want to escape all the hustle and bustle of the everyday, spend an hour in Carfin Grotto.

The second you step into the grotto it's a haven of peace. Beautiful experience. So well kept grounds and the statues are so beautiful.

This is a must please go you have not experienced this is so peaceful.. The gardens are lovely and so are the small prayer rooms

I took my children here for a few hours, to show them the wonders and peace of the grotto. I'm glad to say that they have touched their inner peace since they've came.

Are dogs on a lead allowed in the Grotto

As far as I know they are allowed in as long as they dont do their business in there . Nobody around to really police it .
