I recently visited this charming gallery with some friends! The intimate space showcases a diverse range of art and art from local artists. A hidden gem worth exploring!

What an exceptional experience I had with Browns Gallery. I attempted to visit the Inverness gallery without checking the opening hours and found it closed. After speaking on the phone with Gordon at the Tain gallery, a member of staff took a special journey to open up to the Inverness gallery to ensure I didn’t miss the exhibition. And what a beautiful, contemporary space. It was an oasis of quiet and calm right in the centre of Inverness. Emma, the member of staff was so helpful and made me feel completely welcome and at ease despite the lengths she had gone to for me. Absolutely wonderful customer service. Bravo, Browns!

World class gallery, showing leading Scottish artists. The owner is a visionary, clearly. The Inverness gallery is probably the best in Scotland. Emma is a delight too.

There are some amazing contemporary artworks at this wonderful gallery, which in turn is based in a gorgeous building.
However I did find some of the prices on the high side.

Attempted to visit this gallery whilst staying in the area. Unfortunately we made over a 50 mile round trip on the afternoon of Saturday 4 August 2018 to find the gallery closed. We had checked the website for the opening hours prior to travelling and the gallery should have been open and there was also no notice posted up at the gallery to apologise for it being closed.

We stumbled on this excellent little gallery while exploring the streets around the centre of Tain. The gallery itself has been created with a fine attention to detail with a simple palette of materials and a sensitive respect for the original buildings which house the gallery. The artwork displayed is high quality & beautiful. More like a public gallery than a 'shop' - well worth a visit & a browse.

Gallery owner sold me a painting for £1000 more than similar works by the same artist in another gallery. Unfortunately I was new to buying art so was taken in.

Superb art gallery selling a number of pieces by top contemporary artists. You need a large cheque to buy - but browsing is free.

Bright airy setting to show of a very ample biodiversity of art works, which whom are displayed impeccably in this beautiful gallery.
The owner, a very quirky good looking gentleman whom I found quite interesting especially on his thoughts of the art work that were on show.
Also a very calm little area as you enter to sit with a coffee.
Well done Mr Brown for your intriguing gallery;)
