‪If you enjoy finding beautiful one of a kind pieces to accent your home but you don't want to scour the United States then just come to this store because they've done the foot work for you. The lovely owners clearly have an amazing eye for curating beautiful pieces. Stop by and slowly stroll through this little treasure chest and you will not be disappointed. Some absolutely gorgeous pieces and very reasonably priced in comparison to some local stores I've stopped in. ‬

‪We have visited Resurrected Relics a few times now and I find the store so charming. The owner is always friendly and helpful...she even played the piano in the window for us :) I get so nervous taking our kids into some antique stores but the owner here embraces families and always includes the kiddos in conversation. It has made "treasure hunting" fun for them too.
Our return purchases have been on the Fusion mineral paint the store carries. I have done 2 hutches and bathroom cabinets, all of which the owner advised me on...color choices based on the piece/space of the room, which brush to use, etc. If you are looking for a great all-in-one for paint projects, this beats Annie Sloan hands down!
Thank you for helping me turn a $50 hutch find into a one-of-a-kind treasure for our home!‬

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! You made my day! In the early stages of owning your own business, there is very little job satisfaction. Some days you work so hard and accomplish so little that you wonder who’s bright idea it was to start this journey to begin with...and then I read your kind words and remember that THIS is why I work so hard. Giving people the confidence to unleash their creative potential makes my heart happy. I cannot thank you enough for your kind words and for reminding me that I am right where I belong. 💛

‪Lots of neat items for sale. Nicely displayed. Prices are in line with the quality, age & rarity. The perfect place to find something for the difficult gift giving in your life. Everything has a story, the owner will share, and it makes the items even that more meaningful. Maryville is lucky to have a place like Resurrected Relics. ‬

‪Purchased a trunk from this retailer using my credit card. Picked it up 1 week later and it sat in my garage. More than 3 weeks after my initial purchase I received an alert from my bank that this retailer had put through a $100 charge on my credit card. I had not made any additional purchases. When my husband contacted the owner she stated that there were some magazines and photos in the trunk and she "needed to get our attention". She even went as far as to state that the bank suggested that she added the charge, which of course they are appalled at. A business owner that would indiscriminately add a charge for items not purchased is not only unethical their behavior is illegal. Yes she has our "attention", along with the station of the FTC and the fraud department. Please reconsider shopping here but if you must DO NOT use a credit/debit card.‬

I am very sick at seeing this but if you are going to tell the story, you should tell the whole tale. You are right that you purchased a trunk at my store...what you DID NOT purchase was the original ford motor company production photographs of the model t car. You also DID NOT purchase original tintypes of the first Kentucky Derby...you certainly did NOT purchase the series of Lippincotts Monthly Magazines featuring Arthur Conan Doyle’s first published editions Sherlock Holmes and Oscar Wilde’s first published edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray- which, by the way, we had appraised and valued at over $30,000 by the fine people Case Auctions and antiques. You purchased a trunk and only a trunk for $125 and when you got home with the trunk, you found that it was full of items you did not purchase. At this point, an honest individual would have returned the items that they did not pay for but that is not what you did. For three weeks my entire family agonized about this loss. My husband especially lost sleep and prayed that you would do the right thing. I was very good to you and your husband when you visited our store. I explained in great detail how to clean the trunk up and preserve its beauty...I held onto the trunk for over a week so that you could pick it up at your convenience and I helped your husband carry the trunk out to your vehicle when you came to pick it up. I even loaned you a blanket so that the trunk wouldn’t mess up your leather seats. Your husband promised to return the blanket within a couple of days on his way home from work. I still to this day do not have the blanket I loaned you. We could care less about the blanket but during that time after you left with the trunk and it’s contents we prayed several times a day, every day that your husband would return that blanket so we would have a means of communicating with you so we could ask you to return the contents of the trunk. We had NO WAY of contacting you and you knew that. Why didn’t you return the blanket? Was it because you knew we would want you to return our property? After a week of literally making ourselves sick with worry, we contacted our credit card service provider and explained the situation we were in. We asked them if they could give us your contact information but they told us that they didn’t have access to that information and they advised us to run your card as an ‘AUTHORIZATION ONLY’ transaction on our cc machine to use as a smoke signal to get you to contact us. They explained to us that an auth only transaction does not give us any money out of your account, it basically just puts a hold on the amount of the charge for a few days so that hopefully you would notice within that time and contact us. We sat on that information for two weeks after we got it, still hoping you would do the right thing. We decided to move forward with our cc providers advice for contacting you nearly a month after you purchased the trunk. Literally 5 minutes after the transaction, I get a very pleasant phone call from your husband, Mark, telling me that your trunk looks beautiful and thanking me for the cleaning advice. He then says he recieved a notification from his bank (Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord!!) saying that there was a charge on his card. I explained to him that we had spent the better part of the last month trying to figure out how to contact him about returning the items that were in the trunk. He admitted that he had known about the items in the trunk for a few weeks and he said that he would return them the next day if I reversed the charge. Of course I agreed and tried to explain that there never was a charge on his account that it was only a HOLD. I thought he understood and felt that we were on good terms when he hung up. I immediately tried to call him back to ask him if I could send my husband to his house to just pick up the items instead of having him drive them out to me but Mark called me from a private business line and I realized that I still didn’t have his full name or phone number so if he just decided to not return our property the next day, I STILL would have no way of contacting him. I had no reason to trust either of you at this point...you kept things that didn’t belong to you including the blanket that I loaned you and that you promised you would return and when I finally found a way to get your attention, you call me from a private number?! I was out of options and I honestly I didn’t expect that you and your husband would return our property. If I had charged your card for $100 that would’ve been one heck of a deal for over $50,000 of “magazines and photos” (smh) stowed away in that trunk but in two days the HOLD would be released and I would be out over $50,000 and we would still have absolutely no way to contact you if you decided to keep our property. The next day Mark returned our property to us but we met a very different man than the Mark we talked to the previous day on the phone. Your husband told us that he felt justified to keep the items that were in the trunk (that he did not pay for). He felt that we had wronged him by calling him out on it and he was furious that we put a (very temporary) $100 hold on his account “forcing” him to return our property...You will never be able to convince me that we were the bad guys in this situation. I do not agree with Mark’s logic but we agreed to disagree and my husband tried to offer you and your husband a $200 an artisan made, one of a kind wooden Christmas tree as a thank you for doing the right thing and also as an apology for any inconveniences we caused you. He refused. I am stunned and appalled at this attack on us. You failed to mention in your VERY one sided review that the HOLD on the $100 was released the moment you returned our property. We are a God fearing, Christian, family business and strive to go above and beyond for our customers. I feel like I did that for you and your husband and if your honest, if only with yourself, you know that too. I sincerely hope you will rethink your review but if you don’t, I can live with that too. We both know the truth but I do hope for your sakes that God doesn’t judge you for your mistakes as harshly as you judge others for theirs.
