Fantastic Sunday roast piping hot good portion and fantastic service from both dining and the bar , always a warm friendly welcome from staff

Popped in for a drink, ended up having a few more, due to the excellent company Angela the lottery manager was so lovely, as was the lovely lady behind the bar.
Both ladies are a credit to the bar, friendly, helpful & doing a wonderful job.
If you are passing you should definitely pop in for a drink & natter.

My wife and I were staying in Stanraer for the night and ended up in this friendly local pub. Nothing fancy but a great bunch of people. We watched streams of women entering the front door and walking straight thru the pub and through another door. Come to find out it's also a popular spot for BINGO!

when north off the border am not too ken on the beer that most places stock,ie Belhaven best its mingin.so whilst in portpatrick i noticed the local bar had John Smiths so i googled the area and 3 places that had smiths popped up the place we where in at £3.65 a pint the other two was the stranaer fc bar plus another in the town,well imagine our suprise when the location of the bar was next door too where we had been eating.marvellous ,so in we went served a cracking pint of Smiths £2.80 and carling lager £2.50 dont think you"ll find a cheaper bar in Stranraer

Good place to call for a drink. A good crowd in, good atmosphere and drinks at a reasonable prices.
Efficient service from friendly staff.

Заведение относится к футбольному клубу Странраера, как это явствует из его названия. Сам клуб был основан в позапрошлом веке, хотя особых успехов и нее добивался. Когда я там был, болельщиков я там не заметил. Сюда ходят в основном, чтобы послушать живую музыку, и выпить. Обстановка внутри простая, современная отделка стен и мебель. Хороший выбор пива. Музыканты выступают по вечерам.
