A must.
Lambs gambol, riverside ramble and rock scramble all in the one adventure. See the falls, all of them up close and personal and a good cardio workout into the bargain.

Wonderful waterfall walk!
Stunning walk with good signage to all 4 Waterfalls. Some steep descents but main path is level and easy walking and you can choose which Waterfalls you visit so if mobility is an issue, perhaps only do 1 and 4.
We did all 4 and had a picnic on the rocks between waterfall 2 and 3 .Some people were swimming here in the deeper water. We also walked behind waterfall 4 -truly magical!
Walking boots are advised, as the paths can be slippy.
This walk took us about 4 hours not including our lunch stop. We parked at Cwm Porth car park for £5 , where there were ice creams, a small shop as well as the essential loos.

This beautiful walk starts at either of two car parks and is well signposted. Lasting three to four hours in total it gives you the opportunity to swim or bathe close to or even walk behind the waterfalls.
Visitors should be aware of the difference in height to overcome. After rainfall caution is advised because the terrain is slippery and uneven.
I advise to bring food and drinks and a camera.

We decided to do this stunning walk and whilst we did manage it I have to say it is harder than any of the reviews I have seen.
I am not that fit admittedly, but was with people who were much fitter and they all agreed was more strenuous than anticipated.
Very slippy in places so make sure you wear appropriate footwear.

5 mile walk which is steep and slippy in parts but 4 beautiful and amazing waterfalls. Would be OK for teenage children but probably not younger or elderly unless fit.

The waterfalls are beautiful. Especially the one that you can go behind.
The paths up and down can be tough but we'll worth the effort.
Good parking in nearby fields at reasonable cost.

Van parking price is crazy when they take up the same space as a car. Walk is a waste of time and has been made more dangerous especially when walking down to each waterfall. Dog friendly ! It isn't. Website makes it look pretty but you will not get those views at all. My view is they have made it over complicated and not enjoyable at all. Waste of a day to be fair. Oh and mountain rescue and emergency services were there when we left. Says alot again!!!! .....paths should be lower to the river and waterfalls. Not dangerously high and then a shear wall down to each. I could go on....

This walk is a beautiful one!! But, be aware, to get to some of the waterfalls the hills are step, wonky underfoot and slippery!!!
So please… if you go. Wear good grippy shoes and take plenty of water, snacks
We loved it! It was a great and excitng adventure! We met some lovely humans, and the waterfalls really are magic!
We parked on the raise of the road near a litre garage as the car park was closed! Had a lovely ice cream from there when we got back!
All in all, a totally brilliant day. But go prepared!!

What a beautiful extraordinary experience. Parking was so close and only £5 for the day. Lovely walk amazing scenery all well signposted and path ways for intermediate and extreme hikers…. We had the best time. Met so many lovely people throughout the day
Would suggest taking enough water and snacks as can be a long time hiking/walking back to start where there is a lovely coffee truck and snack shop

We arrived at the waterfalls at around 11 after a 2 hour drive. The car park was almost full on a Wednesday, albeit in the school holidays. As others have said, it’s like arriving at a theme park or family attraction rather than a peaceful day out in nature. I dread to think what it’s like on a weekend!
As keen hikers, we were looking forward to our day out but it was far too busy to enjoy. There is no chance of getting anywhere near the waterfalls as there are people climbing all over them. The paths to the waterfalls have boardwalks which are not one way and it’s a struggle to pass all of the people.
On the whole it was an unenjoyable day out, that has become very much instagram vs reality!

Is there a way to get to the falls walk via public transportation? If not, as an American how hard is to drive on the left?

I don't believe it is possible to get there on public transport. I'm in the USA at present and have adapted to drive on the right without problems but some of the roads you will drive are narrow so just take care.

Where is the best place to stay eg - area and I’ve looked on Trivago , Booking com hotels already- 2 adults and a child and dog, I do drive so can do a short drive to the waterfalls and also want to visit the caves. We are on a budget and thinking of staying 2 or 3 days.
Any advice appreciated looking to go in the next week or days!

we stayed in a cottage Swn-yr-adar 1/2 an hour awau. a perfect location and dog friendly You can find it on holiday cottages.

Yes, we were there with our 4 and 2 year old. Some of the steps are quite steep but they do have hand rails and everyone when we were there ( Good Friday so it was busy!) were very helpful and patient. Most of the paths are in good condition and look to have recently been recovered with fresh hard core. Hope you enjoy!
Can you barbecue in the area?

Tbh, even though we didn't and I didn't see anyone else having a BBQ around the waterfall's, although maybe up in the carpark area possibly.
That being said, it's a little bit of a hike around the falls and unless you have an Olympic athlete level of fitness, I would recommend a small picnic or see if you can sort something out for the carpark.

Hi, if we are short of time can we just walk to waterfall 4 and back or do we have to visit all of them?

They are all on separate tracks off a circular path so you could go straight to the waterfall you want and then back. Try and pick the car park that is closest as there’s 3 car parks and I’m not sure which waterfall you are calling 4.

Hi is there anyway to park a car overnight? We are intending on camping but don’t know if there is a place to park overnight? Thanks
