‪Gute Räder, daran gab es nichts auszusetzen. Aber der Umgang mit mir als Kunde war sehr schlecht. Es gibt keine selfguided GPS Tour, man bekommt in die Plastikhülle auf der Lenkertasche einen zurechtgeknickten Flyer des Ladens, auf dem eine sehr ungenaue Karte abgebildet ist, mit der man dann irgendetwas finden soll. Absolut unprofessionell. Ich hatte dann nach einer halben Stunde Irrfahrt gefragte, ob ich anstatt der völlig veralteten Lenkertasche (in der nur das Schloss war, welches man, wie überall auf der ganzen Welt üblich, auch am Rahmen unterhalb des Sattels hätte befestigten können) eine Handyhalterung bekommen könnte, die dann ja senkrecht steht, sodass man ohne Probleme z.B. mit Google Maps den Weg findet, ohne ständig anhalten zu müssen um die läppisch gefaltete Karte zu lesen. Der Verkäufer meinte, “es gibt keine Handyhalterung zum Rad. Ich könnte aber gerne eine  für 30 $ kaufen.“ Zudem meinte er allen ernstes, dass man doch auch mit seinem Handy in der wagerechten!!! Plastikhülle den Weg sehr gut finden könnte. Dass aber  normale heutige Smartphones leider nicht in dieser Hülle von vor 20 Jahren passen und meins deshalb immer wieder herausgefallen ist und dass das Handy dazu natürlich senkrecht angebracht werden muss, war ihm komplett egal. Er ist auch nach mehrmaligem Hinweis auf diese Probleme, nicht einmal darauf eingegangen und hat nur immer wiederholt “ das sei das System, was sie anbieten“. Er hat mir in keinster Weise geholfen. Ich bin dann nach der Sprachansage meines Handys in der Hosentasche gefahren, wobei das nicht in lauter Umgebung funktionierte.

Ich habe in den letzten Monaten einige Räder hier in Australien geliehen, bei allen war eine Handyhalterung (manchmal auf Nachfrage) umsonst dabei. Das Systeme “Tasche mit Plastikhülle“ ist so veraltet und dieses dann auch noch gut zu heißen, war eine Frechheit. Es gab überhaupt kein Verständnis oder Einsicht vom Verkäufer. Vielleicht genügt das für älterer Kundschaft, die einfach mal ein bisschen hin-und herfahren wollen, aber für Touren z.B. zu den Northern Beaches geht das gar nicht, dieser Bereich ist auf dieser kümmerlichen Karte noch nicht einmal eingezeichnet.

Nie wieder mit diesen Laden, bzw. mit diesem Personal und dieser uralten Navigationsmethode.

‪Amazing bikes and service‬
‪Great experience hiring e-bike and road bike from Manly bike hire and tours. The bikes are high quality, well maintained and the staff hugely helpful and informative. The e-bikes have great battery range and we were able to comfortably do some long return rides to Palm Beach on one day and Kuringai national park on another. Highly recommend for a great active day out exploring the beautiful northern beaches!‬

‪Amazing day - great bikes - highly recommend‬

‪Hired 2 e-bikes - great service from Francesco. Informed us in detail of the best routes. Bikes were excellent. I would highly recommend. My only comment would be the ride along Manly Beach to the Boat House restaurant is VERY pedestrian heavy so it was very hard to cycle but other than that, fantastic day and saw Hump Back whales.‬

‪Three friends and I had a great experience renting through manly bikes. Jimmy and Seb were exceptionally helpful fitting each bike to the person and ensuring our selection was appropriate for the purpose. In a couple of hours we cycled up to and all around the Sydney Harbour National Park at North Head, including down to the Quarantine station wharf, where there is a nice cafe and even better view! We used a combination of hybrid and electric bikes so could all move at the same pace. The hybrid gearing was good and helped us manage the hilly terrain, and a map attached to the bike indicated an access route which avoided some of the steeper sections getting out of town. Thanks guys for facilitating a great day out! ‬

‪As a family of five on holiday from a London we hired electric bikes from Manly Bikes to explore around and about. The bikes were excellent, clean and well maintained. Didn’t get the blokes name but the guy who sorted us out he was really welcoming and helpful.He gave us a demo of the bikes before we left and tips on where best to ride in the timeframe we had. Highly recommended.‬

‪Very helpful advice on where to go and what to see. The guys were very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable experience. The E-bikes were a bonus. The hills would have been a challenge without them.‬

‪Francisco is a legend! Awesome, friendly and knowledgeable service from the crew at Manly Bikes, we rented a couple of full suspension MTB's and the team could not have been more accommodating with tips, local knowledge and making sure our day was one to remember. Can't thank them enough. The bikes are in A1 condition and are top spec's for the nearby trails. We hit up Manly Dam, Francesco's guidance made sure we had an awesome day out. Will definitely be using these guys again for all things bikes‬
