Lovely lake on the Cobden rd with a lot of fisherman when i was there , so i guess it must be good . Boat launching ramp was under repair

If in Camperdown, it is definitely worth the time to take a short drive to the two volcanic lakes that sit beliow the botanic gardens.The scenery is very pretty and interesting.

Easy access to lake and beach. Lots of lawn and foreshore. Shallow water for paddling and possibly good for swimming. Lots of space for all.

You can see the lake from the botanical gardens lookout or you can drive down to lake off Naroghid Rd

We visited the lake at dusk and watched the sun set whilst sitting on the grass. Spoke to some fishermen who didn't manage to catch anything. My dogs loved running and sitting on the lush grass. Couldn't go in the water because of blue green algae warnings. Great place for quiet time and a picnic.

This lake is very pretty. The shore line we went to looked amazing. No yukky stuff at your feet. The humans did not go in, but again it looked very inviting. Beautiful areas for a picnic.

Truly a hidden gem. Nestled inside two dormant volcano craters, it is a beautiful spot. Great for camping, caravaning, sailing, swimming and heaps of water sports.

Did some camping during Easter for an event in the lake, great spot for families as it has play equipment,farms near by and well maintained facilities(for those not wanting to rough it too much).lake is beautiful and big enough to run a Yacht race and still have plenty of speed boats with wakeboarders and doughnuts on the back driving around. Main town is only 10min drive away with friendly locals and great eating spots. Overall great trip and beautiful location.

This is huge & gorgeous.There is also Lake Gnotuk next to it which is very big also.Both Crater Lakes.Short drive from town & next to the Botanic Gardens.You drive through the Caravan Park to get to them.Wonderful views from the top.

The launching facilities are being repaired but the existing pontoons have moved and are sinking into the water
Need lights at the ramp as it is very difficult to retrieve the boat after dark
