Fantastic surf beach with beautiful views & great amenities.
Amenities;
Surf Life Saving Club - patrolled weekends end Nov - Apr
Carpark, toilets, change rooms & open rinse off shower
Clear signs where to avoid (warnings of submerged objects)
The Beach;
Clean. No rubbish. Small shells, no large rocks, no seaweed or stingers on my visit
Fine sand with plenty of beach space.
Beautiful views: to Point Smythe (Venus Bay) & Eagles Nest (Bunurong Marine National Park.
Dogs allowed - on leash Dec-Jan + Easter holidays. Off leash other times.
Surf;
BeachSafe hazard rating 4/10 (moderate)
Swell 0.9m (0.75 -2.0m)
Great for children on bodyboards

Great beach that was patrolled by surf lifesavers. Safe for the kids but enough surf for them to enjoy themselves. Lovely spot.

The highlight of the beach is the Driftwood Sculptures about halfway between the township and the Surf Club.

Having ending up here purely by accident let me tell you this is a place to allocate more time if you have it.
Fantastic spot to spend some time and just let life walk on by, and lose your mind to regain your soul.
We are lucky to be moving here so one can say this will be a great little haunt that am sure we will both visit quite frequently.
As well overall one is so happy to say there is some pride in this town as this spot was not only spotless but you can tell that those responsible for its presentation do a great job.
So if time prevails and you love the water and a great atmosphere you could've found one of your places just like we have.
Make enough time you'll fall in love!!!!

Gorgeous beach whether it be sunny or windy! Kite surf for the husband with wind in all directions, beautiful beach and dunes which shelter. Parking pretty easy even in summer. Can't go wrong. Shallow in places ideal for the young ones and new kite surfers like me!

Great beach for families. Lifesaving club upstairs is great for an after swim drink! Only $4 a beer while catching a great view.

Pretty beach with amazing golden sand. Toilets are available and the beach is regularly patrolled by lifeguards during busy periods

Plenty of space for every need and experience. A patrolled beach in summer, great surfing spots and plenty of tracks from car parking on Surf Parade.
Not only os this beach good in summer, all year round the sunsets are magnificent and the reflections in the glistening sand as the waves recede are a photographers dream.

Lovely long beach with patrolled section. Not sure if the day we went was typical but the waves were a really perfect size for swimming with the kids; not too big, but big enough for a bit of fun. Can see why it’s popular with families.

We had the most beautiful time, walking along this beach. The sunsets are incredible. During the day, the beach is moderately busy but you can find a great spot!
