I was looking forward to watching a movie with my kids their first day back from college. We were going to see 'Knives Out' advertised for 7:15 PM on their website. When we arrived, they told us it was not showing because too many people came to see 'Jumanji' at one of their other locations so they were redirected to our theater and our showroom was taken to show 'Jumanji' instead. After driving all the way from Morristown, this was very disappointing; they didn't try to offer us any free tickets or discounts. When I suggested to them that they change their website when a movie became unavailable, they said they are not supposed to do that. I have never had a problem like this anywhere else. If a movie is sold out, it's sold out, it doesn't overflow into another room and cause others to miss out on their movie.

After this cinema was reopened it hasn't been anything but great! $5 movies and cheap concessions. Plus a friendly staff

Awesome seats, reasonable food prices (if there is such a think at a theater) and very friendly people. Only $5.00 plus tax for first run movies. They have 4 different screens so each week you have good choices.

Newport Cinema is tiny, but terrific! First Run Movies with all shows only $5! We are blessed to have this family-owned theater in our small town!

We love going to this theater. It has 4 feature movies every week. The price is fantastic $5.00 plus tax. They offer popcorn , drinks, and candy. It is not a large movie theater but it does have reclined seating which has been recently added. They do not have 3D movies but it is not a must for enjoying movies they offer. You should give them a try.

I've had a good experience every time I've been and you can't beat the low ticket price of $5. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a great way to go out with family/friends without spending too much.

Movie tickets were five dollars. First run movies. Four different screens. Nice way to spend a hot evening. Few games out front for the kids.

This movie was amazing me and my boyfriend loved it we had so much fun I loved and recommend this movie to couples or families it is a real treat.

We have only been to two movies here: Black Panther, and A Wrinkle in Time. Both of them were there when they opened nationally. They have lots of Kid's movies for the whole family, and since we have moved to Newport recently we intend to continue to check the billboard frequently.
