‪We brought our 1 year old here and had a great time. We visited during the Christmas tree shopping time, but there were a lot of attractions available (most of which were free to Christmas tree shoppers, and some of which required tokens). The only “token” activity we did was the train, which was a nice long ride around the farm. Other than that, our boy was entertained for hours with the slides, animals, playhouses, forts, and just sitting on the benches to enjoy nature and have a snack (concessions available). This was a fun, unique experience, especially for such a short drive from Houston. You won’t find lots of safety precautions here, and some toys/equipment are a little worse for wear, but hey it’s a farm! Highly recommend visiting for tree shopping - the farm was very lightly attended, so there were no lines for the fun!‬

‪This was our family's favorite activity of the entire year, hands down.

We visited on a Saturday, arriving at 10am. We left at 4pm when our kids, both under 5, started to have mini meltdowns from sheer exhaustion. We could have stayed until later as there was indeed more to do!

My kids loved all the activities. There must be more than 30 total. We enjoyed the pedal cars, mining for gems, barnyard "petting zoo" and the bounce pillows the most. What I loved were the minimal lines given this was an "off peak" weekend, which means that basically they could run from activity to activity and more or less walk right on or wait for one other person in front of them. I loved the carousel, the train ride (legitimate ride around the tree farm, not just in a circle right there) and the ferris wheel. My kids at ages 4 and 5 were able to do almost everything even those with small height requirements.

I balked at the price at first, at $30 per person plus convenience fees, but then when we got there and experienced it I realized it was a great value. We had a terrific time, made great memories, got fantastic pictures and I'm already stalking the website to find out when the spring festival is so we can plan on going again!

I see this being a twice or three times a year activity for our family until the kids are bit older.

Few bits of feedback/criticism for the owners and others to take into account planning your day:

1.) Peak vs. Off Peak will make or break you; if you go peak and there are tons of lines, it will make your value much less
2.) Bring a wagon. I read the reviews here and on yelp like I was studying for a final. And yes, I brought: Mud boots for four, bug spray, sunscreen, hats, packed lunches, three water bottles per person. AND I NEEDED ALL OF IT just like others had said. Without a wagon I'd be lugging a suitcase.
3.) For a place that's cashless, bring lots of cash. I know the website has disclaimers all over that once inside they don't accept cash, but there is an asterick to that statement (or should be) because you need cash--alot of it. All of the animal feeders only accept quarters. There is an employee sitting outside of the barn ready to give you quarters--but only in exchange for cash. The face painting people only accept cash. The pony rides only accept cash. Get the pattern? Bring lots of cash to this cashless place.
4.) There was ONE notable line the entire day. At the "grasshopper" jumper line. That line was 45 minutes long. Because the two teenage employees acted like they had been instructed that each kid MUST jump for 8 minutes. Even if they were obviously exhausted and hanging limply at minute 3. So a long line of tired and eager kids watched as each participant spent the majority of their "ride" hanging there, barely jumping, while the two teenagers stared at their phones in the corner, until the 8 minutes was up and they harnessed the next kid. Many parents wised up to this and summoned them to get their kids down sooner. Each time they looked up surprised "You want them down?". Yes, we want them down when they stop jumping and there are 20 kids waiting to jump. Please shorten this to 4 minutes and halve the wait. Also please ask the attendants to stay off their phones.
5.) Speaking of staff, they ranged from absolutely wonderful with children to surly and rude. I supervise a staff of 55, and if any one of them spoke to a customer the way people did to my kids or family just once they'd be on notice for termination. The gentleman at the hog ride, the gentleman loading the ferris wheel, and the lady at the bottom of the large three story slide--all excellent. Calm, respectful, smiles, the whole nine yards. The guy loading the ferris wheel even addressed toddler girls as "ma'am" in a very southern way, which was heartwarming. Everyone else? Bollocks. Being lectured at the train to "do the right thing" when trying to load our children because apparently it's against the rules to step off the non moving train to the right to try and adjust kids and bags, only the left is acceptable. Being ignored by employees sitting in chairs staring at their phones and told to "ask that guy over there" without looking up. Etc, etc. Search for "rude" in reviews of this attraction and sadly this is clearly an ongoing issue. Please management make this a priority with training or role plays, or secret shoppers. I have used all of them to great success.
5.) Pack a lunch and all liquids you need! Remember about how it's cashless? That leads to problems when you try and buy food and beverages and their wifi goes out. It's an all stop. This happened to us when we stood in line to buy a turkey leg to give our kids a taste--waited in line 10 minutes, and then told sorry we can't sell you any because our wifi is out and we don't accept cash, so we can't sell anything. We wandered over to Roosters, a burger stand, and stood in line another 15 minutes to try and get nachos to redirect our disappointed preschoolers for a snack. Same thing happened. Got to the front of the line, and was told, oh sorry our WIFI is not working now. I just stood there for another 15 minutes because by then I realized it's not a problem with one individual food outlet, but the place overall. It did eventually work, and next time I would just stay in the original line until it starts working again. But I would only do this for snacks, with young children things get hairy fast when their lunch gets delayed, and I was very grateful I had packed their lunches.

This is a lot of feedback but it's misleading. Overall it was a fantastic time and we will be back!‬

‪Grandparents taking an 11 year old boy and a 3 year old girl had a wonderful time on opening day.

There were glitches- soda fountain not working at the one place we waited in line for , not all menu items were available, but overall- there was more than enough to do for both children and we laughed and are all sore this morning!

They both want to go back, so I consider this a very successful outing and would highly recommend!‬

‪Really disappointing first visit. After hearing and reading rave reviews, I was excited to take my family to Dewberry Farm. The tickets were fairly expensive. But, what one would expect to pay for a top notch experience.

Sadly, this was far from the case. The overall condition of the park was disappointing. There were broken "attractions" to be found all over. The little mini-train was basically the only thing that seemed to be working.

They had one poorly staffed concession stand run by unenthusiastic employees that moved at a sloth pace serving over-priced, mediocre food.

The live animal attraction was most underwhelming. Not much to see here. Move along to the next hokey attraction...

You get the gist. This place may have indeed seen better days. But, based on our experience, we won't return.

BTW, the facility itself and overall experience was a 1-star. But, there were several nice employees that deserve recognition for trying to make the most out of a boring situation.‬

‪Where do I start? 1: The Ferris wheel was broken, you could get your feet cut off, but hey you don’t need to worry if your feet get cut off once they can’t get cut off again. 2: Family lost their small child in the corn maze, nearly lost the other two looking for them😂. 3: Goat jumped onto the fence for food, very smart and learns quick. 4: I definitely recommend going on the black hole if you don’t get dizzy easily. 5: Nice food for cheap. 6: Yes there is a way out of the corn maze, after about and hour of wandering we made it, but you will need a map and a satellite map it out the exit. 6: Fun play place, I do hope they lower the fence when you are climbing the rock wall, my cousin struggled to get over once he got to the top. 7: Half the people weren’t wearing mask but the had multiple hand washing stations. 8: Not over priced at all, food was cheep and tasted fine. 9: You will have to order ahead online and will have to watch out for the officers on horses. 10: The bouncy pillows were fun, but some little girl face planted into it. 11: I got hit in the face with a tether ball but don’t worry, it was my cousin and I got him back by “ Accidentally” hitting him in the face on the ‘Wizzle’ Please keep in mind that this is an experience that my Aunt, Cousin and I had, not all visitors will have the same perspectives.‬

‪My wife got tickets for us and the grandkids.
Every part of this day was way past our expectations.
From breakfast, cookie decorating, and ornament making- to meeting Santa was a special day.
Out side the kids could play on all the things Dewberry is famous.
We are already looking forward to next year.‬

‪Read the review of Dewberry Farm of December 2019. If you read their website you know what time activities close. We took out 7 & 4 year old grandchildren. They did the Apple canons, pSint ball, black hole, the train, saw the lights & did do much more. My 4 year old grandpa child said she loved Dewberry Farm. I did not see signs all over the place pushing liquor as someone stated.‬

‪I visited the park at noon with my 8 year old grandson and paid almost $60 for all activities and the Christmas lights event. Almost all rides were closed for the fall; of the remaining "attractions" almost all were food and drinking establishments and cheap, uneventful things like tug of war (rope provided for the "attraction"...yay!), swinging from a rope onto hay, and a slide that was as slippery as sandpaper. Literally, we covered all the attractions in 30 minutes...no lie and no exaggeration. It was my grandson who was bored stiff who suggested we leave. You know it's bad when the children give it a bad review.

Finally, although I am not a fuddy duddy by any means, I expect to be surrounded by alcohol if I go to a bar but I was blown away by the constant signs for alcohol at the entrance of the kids' "rides."

This place is an absolute scam: way overpriced, cheap, boring "attractions," and just a food-and-alcohol money maker under the guise of a super fun farm attraction for families. It cost me an hour drive and $60 to find this out but they won't get me again.‬
