This historic church is beautiful from the outside but you must go inside to appreciate how truly beautiful it is.

Beautiful church with an interesting history. Definitely worth a stop while in Castroville to learn more about the Alsace heritage of the town and to see the lovely stained glass.

We visited and it was good to be able to enter the church. It was beautiful inside. We lit candles, prayed and wrote in visitors book. Please, if you get chance call in, you’ll be amazed. Thanks to well worth the visit.

This is a beautiful church and very much a part of Castroville's history. It's not huge but holds gorgeous wood beams, stained glass, statues and altar. There is a shady gazebo on the grounds where you can take a break while touring the town.

This is a lovely building. We stopped to read the historical marker and then we took a look inside. It is very beautiful.

The parish was founded in 1844. This present church was constructed in 1870. It has a capacity of 650. The stained glass windows were installed in 1970. In 1879 three bells were mounted and christened with the names of St. Louis, St. Mary, and St. Joseph. It is very beautiful inside. In the front there is a statue of St. Louis IX.

We attended a wedding this past weekend here. The church inside is a sight to behold. The pews are strangely "missing" the back support. Wish I had taken my Nikon camera to take more photos inside.

This church is absolutely Amazing, the stain glass, the history. A MUST SEE, don't pass up this rich part of history and culture.
