We went back and forth on what JFK tour to take since so many are offered. I was a little hesitant since this one was only $20.00 compared to the other ones that are around $75.00. We decided to try this one and figured if was terrible we could book another.
I was not disappointed at all. This tour drives you through the areas of the motorcade, to where JFK was shot and then followed what happened afterwards with arrest and killing of Oswald. I learned so much I never knew! It's a prerecorded track that is playing on the tour, but done very well. They play soundbites from the day while in the locations. The trolley is a little bumpy and makes hard to take photos, but often times the trolley driver would stop long enough for photos to be taken. You see where Kennedy was shot at grassy knoll, the boarding house Oswald went to, where Oswald shot officer Tibbet, the Texas theater and jail where he was shot. The pickup and drop off location is right at the 6th floor museum, so if you wanted to visit afterwards or before you can. The JFK memorial is only a 5 minute walk from here as well. Very happy with the tour and would highly recommend!

You could inform customer of pick up points. I Phoned number supplied to get a recorded message of two pick up points near me , went to first no bus came went to 2nd (omni hotel) bus sailed past without stopping ....I really feel cheeted Paid mu money on line but neither hopped on or off .very bad

We are closed on Tuesdays 3/21 and Wednesdays. It is not possible to purchase tickets on the the days we are not open. Perhaps you purchased and showed up on the wrong date. Our phone recording gives the information of our website to see all dates and times that we operate and the location and time of all the stops.

Very informative tour that gave us a good timeline about the JFK assassination. You visit all the key points that lead up to Oswald’s arrest. Would recommend.

Good your. Interesting information and a fascinating tour… driving down the streets and hearing all about what took place there.
Trolley was a little loud making it hard to hear the narration which was a recording. Still a good investment of an hour.

We took the morning JFK trolley tour. Great way to hear history of the assassination and the Dallas spots associated with that historic day.

Recommend this tour as an easy way to see what’s available downtown Dallas Our driver was informative in pointing out the city art works, attractions and museums. Appreciated the air conditioning in the summer heat. Wouldn’t recommend the hop on hop off as there is a lengthy wait between trolleys

This was a super fun and interesting tour of downtown Dallas. And Dina our driver was super interesting with lots of great anecdotes and fun facts about Dallas.

Family of 5 took the JFK Tour at 3pm on a 100 degree day. The trolley air conditioning was doing its best but couldn’t keep up. The tour was very informative. The audio portion is pre-recorded and the orator did an excellent job setting the scene. Live recordings from the infamous day were interspersed providing a greater sense of being there. Highly recommend. Consider a morning tour if it’s a hot day.

We bougth the hop on/off pass. We were there on a Monday and they were closed Tuesday and Wedneday so our pass wasn't good again until Thursday and we were only in the area Monday and Tuesday. Also, if you hop off, the bus doesn't come back around to pick you up for an hour and a half. So, unless you can kill that much time don't waste the extra money for the hop on/off pass. We did enjoy our tour and if I remember correctly, it took about 60 minutes.

Hi there, first of all thanks for your review it was really helpful since you described almost everthing I needed to know, though I would like to know something else if its possible, how long does the hop on hop off tour takes? what sites you get to see? the webpage for the company its broken so I cant seem to find a way to know this information, another question is, by any change do you know how much would it cost to add a ticket to go to the reunion towerps deck?

They normally are out front of the book depository, we paid 20 each for adults. Not sure of the times on Sunday, we went on the 1pm tour. They depart every hour I believe, you can get tickets in advance and she will tell you all the times. If you choose to go into the book depository make sure you have at least 2 to 3 hours for it, lots to look at and videos to watch. Hope this helps you!

it was about every hour. look for their ticket stand in front of the school depository building.
If you buy the city tour and the JFK tour there is a discount if you ask for it.

4u2kn0w answered your question well as far as the route taken. I would like to add that you get a pretty good feel for the dallas area. Also if you let your driver know they will drop you off at the GEO Deck after the tour. No extra charge to do that service either. The driver told me that's part of the cost of the tour, just know you need to let him know that you would like to take advantage of the service. There will be others on your trolley that do not have that "option" purchase so they will first go back to the start/end point and drop off those who don't at the end of the tour and then go to the GEO Deck and drop you off.
