‪Go after 1 pm. Kids from local schools come every day and leave at 1. Finding parking, driving a scooter was difficult with so many little ones running around. Although their excitement was joyful to watch. It's a small zoo , exhibits are compared to Disney. Admission for seniors was 14.00 a person. It would be great if the zoo opened before 10 am‬

‪Forth Worth Zoo's real world updates.‬

‪Great zoo, but overrall I have some strong feelings about this place. I entered and the first thing I see is the shop, obviously. I decide to look around because I saw a few things I might be interested in purchasing. I saw little tiny stuffed animals, and let me tell you! Those things were so expensive I might as well have just spent my eldest daughters college funds paying for one tiny plushie of an elephant. Let's get real here! Soooo expensive! Tote bags, jewelry, other toys, etc. were extremely overpriced and if you paid for any of the merchandise, shame on you and I'm extremely disappointed in what we've become.
Back in 1984, those bad boys were only about 7 bucks! I went with my nieces and nephews who are about 15 or 16, so I had to pay about $54. Not too shabby, but to see abused animals suffering greatly in their habitats is not worth $18 per person (Adults = 13+).
That gets me onto my next topic, the animals. There was a great variety of them and some of these animals looked greatly robust, which I was pleased with. On the other hand, there were a few of the animals who looked like they needed a bit of help meal wise and to be frank with you, mentally wise. Many animals were sleeping the whole time and if they weren't, a majority were unhinged and mad. You can just tell some of these animals need a better habitat/environment to live in.
God please help these poor souls, restore them back to life, and set them free. This torture is sadistic and diabolical. Fix your zoo as well as yourselves. I can't believe this zoo is still in business and thriving after the atrocities I saw back in February.

‪Great first choice for first timers in the area. ‬

‪As a first timer after living here for 20 years, I knew that the Ft Worth Zoo would be the better choice to do some photography. The zoo did not disappoint whatsoever. Nice zoo as zoo goes. We were there on Wednesday (half price day) and there were a lot of toddlers and school groups, so it was a bit crowded. Great place for photography.‬

‪I have been to the Best Zoo of my life. ‬

‪There are Zoo’s and then there is the Fort Worth Zoo. In my long life I have been to more than a few. I have been to Herman Park, Breckenridge, Abilene, Dallas, and others. All of them have something to claim that is unique. I visited Fort Worth Zoo, yesterday and I saw, what to me, a Zoo should be like. Or rather I realized what a Zoo, is for and WOW! Fort Worth Zoo is under a Renovation and Expansion phase. So, I did not get to see it in as good a shape as it would be. But what I did see is easily the best Zoo I have ever been to in my life. Now that I have been, I have learned a few things and the next trip will even be better. The food and refreshments were refreshingly reasonably priced. Most places anymore, use the opportunity to gouge you on pricing but not the Fort Worth Zoo. However, I saw many families bring in their own food and drink and picnic in the many places that are provided for you to relax. Beautiful, maintained grounds and interesting areas abound all over the Zoo. From a person that is not admittedly a Zoo crazy person I can tell you that this is one place I will be back to, health willing. Take the day and enjoy it for yourself. ‬

‪Great Zoo‬

‪We were originally going to visit a different Zoo but after talking to people during our vacation stay, we heard this zoo was better and it sure was. The exhibits are clean, well taken care of and very large for you to see the animals no matter where they are. The walkways are pretty easy to get through with children and a stroller even on a busy day like Saturday. A must see for families‬

‪First time to visit this zoo in a very long time. This zoo has been transformed into a world class facility. It was very clean and the many of the animals were not couped up in cages and allowed to roam around their separate areas. Very impressed!!‬

‪We have been to a lot of zoos all over the country and this ranks in our family's top 5. Unique exhibits and activities. Clean with easy parking. Loved the elephants and apes. Highly recommend for all ages.‬

‪Nice midsize zoo‬

‪Really nice mid size zoo with plenty of animals to see and something for all ages. Only downside was some of the enclosures seemed a little small but they are doing a lot of construction and it looks like the zoo will be expanding.‬

‪Loved our visit to the zoo so much that we decided to get a membership. We learned a lot about the different species, including the swimming hippos. The gorillas were quite entertaining. A great place to spend the day no matter your age.‬
