“‪Amon Carter Museum of American Art Keeps Ft. Worth Ahead‬”

‪The exhibit was just meh as well as the volunteer docent's. I asked a couple of them questions like is this considered surrealism and neither could tell me. Thankfully it was free admission.‬

‪Who doesn't love the Amon Carter museum!‬

‪This is one of the nicest, friendliest museums in the nation. It's all American art of the finest quality in a gorgeous building. Visit and revisit your faves from Georgie O'Keeffe to the most obscure and know that you're surrounded by premier work. Add Remington's sculptures and Russell's paintings for a touch of cowboy art, and just relax and be prepared to be happy. Good for all ages and all levels of art appreciation!‬

‪December at the Amon Carter Museum‬

‪Great museum. Permanent collection includes early modernist American painters and sculptors. Georgia OKeefe, Calder, Cox who I never heard of but was really cool Then onto the western masters Russell and Remington plus their works in bronze. We were very lucky to have seen the exhibition by Bodmer. Watercolors of Indigenous Americans before the settlers came. Great museum which is free and centrally located next to the Kimball and Cowgirl museums. No cafe just coffee’s and candy. Small gift shop. Nice grounds.‬

‪The museum was free and had a good variety of American artists. My favorites were the Remington paintings and statues. It did have a nice playroom for kids as well on the second floor.‬

‪Great visit to The Amon Carter Museum‬

‪Fantastic display of art. And the amount of volunteers stationed throughout the building was amazing. Our kids enjoyed it just as much as we did, and that says a lot. Best part is parking and admission are free! Highly recommend to families with teenagers.‬
