‪Annie Oakley Hologram is Quite Good‬

‪With one's admission to the 2022 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo admission is currently free to the Cowgirl Museum, (and the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History which also contains the Cattle Raisers Museum.)
On the first floor, the Cowgirls and Wild West Shows gallery was very interesting, including the holograms of Annie Oakley. The second floor contains a lot of information about horses and different types of riding including artifacts from saddles to tools to attire. Lining the stairs and walls and near the gift shop are art work done by elementary and high schoolers on the live stock and rodeo theme. The museum building is light, airy, and huge. That said, not sure why it is its own building rather than part of an existing museum. I think it would get a bigger audience that way, but its not my money. I'd like to see significant information about the Women Hall of Fame honorees.‬

‪Cowgirls are cool!‬

‪Ok, I will admit, this was a decent museum, but not really what I was expecting. I wasn't really thinking about cowgirls riding "horses" when I saw the name, if you know what I mean, but it was still quite interesting.‬

‪Yee-Haw! and Gee-up! A real find in the Ft Worth museum district‬

‪This museum is a real find and a jewel in the Ft. Worth Museum District. Very modern with some interactive exhibits. Located right across from Will Rogers (now the Dickies Arena), also features free parking with admission. Lots on Annie Oakley, the quintessential cowgirl, as well as cowgirls past and present. Inductees include Sandra Day O'Connor, Reba McIntyre, and Temple Grandin, many more. There's a saddle there that Roy Rogers bought for Dale Evans, and many other cool artifacts. Highly recommended.‬

‪Cowgirls at their finest!‬

‪Loved this museum!!! From the interactive bonuses to the iconic cowgirls, this place is not your average rodeo!! Loved seeing the outfits worn, reading about inductees, looking at spectacular cowgirl art and experiencing what it meant and continues to mean to be called a cowgirl!! Museum has free parking and is handicapped accessible. Beautiful bronzes surround this beautiful building so walk around and look at them as well. The gift shop has great merchandise and is very reasonable. Staff are knowledgeable and are willing to answer any questions. There is an audio tour you can take on your phone that has great added information. You should really stop in for a great morning or afternoon in Ft Worth!! This is a treasure!!!‬

‪Loved this museum‬

‪We thoroughly enjoyed this unique museum. My favorites were the Annie Oakley exhibit, the Wild West Show exhibit, and the panels on the walls upstairs that made you feel that you were literally looking out the window at beautiful ranch land. I could have looked at that all day. There are a few opportunities for free photo souvenirs. If you ride the mechanical bronco, be sure to email the video to yourself for a fun surprise. The museum is in a beautiful building, with nice staff.‬
