The tours are informative. They won't let you bring cameras, and I recommend only carrying a wallet on the tour. You won't be disappointed! The currency printing process is fascinating.

Truly loved how loved how this is for young and old. Once a year they have the Philadelphia Mint come and show the other side of how money is made. Great Experience.

Awesome seeing just stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks of bills.
We went before the year of the plaque (back in 2019) and it has been closed for tours since them.

Attended a special event that allowed us to meet an employee from each department of the building and design our own dollar. Even without the event, the free guided tour would have been worthwhile. My 9 year old was so impressed with the "money factory" and unique gift shop. A must see in the DFW area!!

Been to the one in DC and so when my sister came in town we went to this one. It is very interesting and alot of fun.

Take your family, take your kids, take a friend. But check it out. This is a neat tour. The after tour stations are also educational.

Wow, loved this tour...Incredible to find out so many interesting facts about the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the level of security is astounding - but it has to be...Highly recommend self guided the audio tour.

It has tons of security, but it is worth the tour. They give you the self tour recordings and everything is very visibly marked on the floor, matching what the recording says. It's fascinating! You park your car and then walk through security. From there, you take a little train-like vehicle that takes you to the main building. They have a wonderful souvenir store and there is a great exhibit on the first floor. For the self tour recording, you have to go upstair.

An excellent show and tell on how our money is paper manufactured. I have done this twice over the years. While i still don’t fully understand the printing process, i certainly appreciate the complexity of how it is done.
This is a great tour for school kids and adults alike!!

Visite intéressante et tout est gratuit... on vous transporte jusqu'à l'usine. Petit film pour expliquer avant la visite. Possibilité d'avoir une traduction française sur demande. C'est sympa. La boutique de "cadeaux" ne présentent aucun inérêt...

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a locker available for cell phones, etc? We are planning to Uber there so we would not have the option of leaving things in the car. Thank you in advance.

I thought they might have had something in the guardhouse where you go through the metal detector. Best bet is to call them: (866) 865-1194 This number is on the website too.
Let me re phrase my question, What happens to the phone that I have? do they just refuse me entrance or can I put it I a locker.... if they have a locker what is the cost?

We, and others that I noticed, left our cell phones in our car. We assumed that security was such here that we had nothing to worry about.
so what if you do have a cell phone bc I have Groupons in DC?

The main entry building has metal detectors and they will make you return your phone or any recording devices to your vehicle. They do have lockers, but I don't recall if there was a cost. The parking lot has several cameras and is monitored so as long as you don't leave your phone laying out in the open you should be ok.

They allow bus groups to visit all the time. In fact, there is bus parking in the same lot as the automobiles.

i'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. Is the tram handicapp accessible or will I( have to get out of the wheelchair and step up into the tram?
