We had a great time trekking through the "jungle".
Take the plunge: go "cliff diving" into the crystal clear waters!

This is actually quite a challenging hiking experience so don't be deluded by its "moderate hike " classification. You will do a lot of climbing & probably get lost a few times along the way. I'd Recommend that you spend your time in this general location swimming at the beautiful Blue Hole Lagoon. I would not attempt this hike with young children or the elderly since some stretches of the path are difficult to maneuver. However, if you are looking for an adventure & a few thrills, this hike is for you !

This is the coolest place. You wouldn't expect to find something like this where it was. You just are walking on a trail and arrive to this. It's so beautiful. We did make the jump, felt is was once in a lifetime type of thing...glad we did. A must see if in Bermuda.

I went there with my 3 year old son. We took a walk and enjoyed the birds as well as the paths. He likes to be a líder and loved to go ahead of me to showed me the way. It was safe and I didn’t have to worry about him and I let him be the tour guide.
Such a great place for little a big explorers a must if you come to Bermuda or live here already! I would suggest to wear comfortable clothes, shoes and bring your water.

A bit hard to find, small parking area between Grotto Bay and the bridge towards the Airport. Walk on the lower paved pathway. Nice pretty remote area, can jump to the right of pavillion thru path.

It is a little bit of a walk, and the signage isn’t great but it is beautiful! Ask anyone and they will be able to give you directions. If you want to swim make sure you bring swim shoes!

Recently visited this beautiful lagoon for a photo shoot. Nothing short of spectacular. The water was refreshing. On the way out we noticed a beach on the left that wasn't in view on the way in due to the tide. we stopped for photos again on the beach.

Tom Moore's jungle was so much smaller than expected and so much less rigorous. From everyone else's review I thought if I entered the trail from the tavern entrance it would be this long rigorous walk to the blue hole. It was not, it was maybe a 10 minute walk on a pretty even path. We did stop to see some great views and it was absolutely gorgeous but it was not exactly the jungle experience everyone had prepared us for. It was a short walk through a park to a swimming hole. The cliff jumping at the blue hole was awesome, so much fun and very beautiful. Be prepared for some salty water!!

We picked a day that a Cruise Ship was not in St. George to go! We had the place mostly to ourselves! I would recommend that you download the local mapping app and it will guide you through the Jungle and take you to all the hidden caves that are not marked. Without the app, it is hard to know where to go, because there are lots of different trails and nothing is marked!

Can you tell me what app you downloaded for directions.
Also how did you get to the location? I’m going from Kings Wharf anddid the trip years ago. Remember a bus but specifics are vague. Thanks

I actually didn't use an app. You have to catch the Grotto Bay bus and get off at Grotto bay hotel stop. it a few yards from the gas station across the street

Good day, can you tell me easiest way via bus or ferry to get to home from Royal Naval Dockyard?
Thank you so much!
Would you suggest this location for solo travelers... Also during the month of January?

solo travelers--yes. The island seems very safe and there are others on the trails in case you have troubles. I am unsure of the climate in Jan. but I can guess it would not be a problem.

Do you have to know how to swim to take this tour? I don't know how to swim.

There is no mandatory swimming that is part of this attraction. There is a water hole where visitors jump into the water.

Is it too cold this time of the year (or in march) to swim in the lagoon/blue hole?

Assonet, ماساتشوستس74 مساهمة
It depends if you don’t mind swimming in colder water. I went in October when it was in the 80’s with high humidity and swimming in a cave was too cold for me. The ocean was perfect however. I would recommend Bermuda any time of year. The caves are fun to explore even if you decide not to swim in them.

The directions you provided on getting to different spots in the jungle...did you enter closer to Grotto Bay or closer to Tom Moore's restaurant? Thanks.

Closer to the restaurant, I believe just to the left before you get to the restaurant.

What a great review- THANK YOU!! WE have a family of 6 going with one 2 year old. He loves hikes.. we go all the time - do you think this is doable with a lil one if there are 6 adults going?

Yes, he will be fine. There are not a lot of hills and plenty of places to stop to take in the sights.
