What a great area - free public access with lots to see.
First - there are 2 different access points to these trails. Both are close to public bus stops.
One access is on the south side, behind the Tavern (the Tavern is only open in the evening). There are trails around the large pond next to the Tavern, and the trail we used starts behind the Tavern and goes all the way through the "Jungle" to the other entrance.
The other access is from a small parking lot, just past the Crystal Caves, on the south side of the road, where the causeway crosses the water to the airport.
The "causeway" access has a grotto at the start of the path. The Blue Hole "swimming hole" is closest to this entrance, and you must follow the path closest to the water to find the swimming hole. There is a small deck at the swimming hole with a bench to sit on. I recommend water shoes if you want to swim because there is no easy access in/out of the water.
Back to the hiking trail...The trick to finding the trail through the "Jungle" is to walk into the clearing with the big oak tree close to the Blue Hole. The trail is kind of hidden at the back of that clearing. It goes through a fence line right away, then wraps above the Blue Hole. A small distance farther are a couple more ponds and somewhere near one of them are the caves (not part of the Crystal Cave attraction) that are open to the public. While we were there, we saw a small tour group going to the caves (with hard hats and lights), so we didn't try to horn in on them. Maybe next time. I would say the whole trail (parking lot to Tavern) was around 1.5 miles and it was on uneven dirt/sand with tree roots, some rocks and small hills to navigate, so it is not for people with walking difficulties.
We continued on this path all the way to the Tavern, where we caught the bus to St George. The post for the bus stop was missing, but the bus driver said if we saw a pole on the opposite side of the road, we could use it as a marker for the bus stop across the street and wave the bus down when it came by. What a great park!

My wife and I were excited to visit Blue Hole Park and Tom Moore's Jungle but we were a little disappointed. The swimming area was a bit murky on the day we visited and it didn't look much like the pictures. You can jump in once or twice and that's probably enough. On an island with so many beautiful locations this is one that we felt we could have skipped.

If you approach this park from the north, there's parking and a well made path leading you to a beautiful blue cove and a few caverns. If you want to be more adventurous, approach from the south and take the overgrown, winding footpath. You won't regret it.

This was one of the most beautiful places we saw in Bermuda. We walked over from Grotto Bay and walked the trails on our own, which I recommend. You can do a self-guided tour by just following each of the trail paths to see where they go. It was nice and shaded too which my husband appreciated.

Its very nice but limited in what you can do. Few jumps from each cliff and you're done. Its definitely a must do. We did it with a dry cave and wet cave excursion. We will go back on next cruise for sure.

Cool trial that goes to the Blue Hole. Very easy to walk and a few trails that go left and right, but nice walk.

This was my favorite thing that I've ever done on vacation, it was so fun, beautiful, and peaceful. We parked at Oleander Cycles to charge our electric rental, but there is also public parking on site at Blue Hole. We walked down a deserted path only crossing a few other people. Blue Hole beach is gorgeous and we also encountered a path to a cave. We're so glad we kept walking to find Tom Moore's Jungle.
Upon arrival, there was a mother with 2 children drying off from their swim. They were nice enough to take a few photos and videos of us cliff jumping and floating. The water is a beautiful shade of blue and also was the perfect temperature (in August). After that family left we were the only ones enjoying this slice of heaven for a little while until a small tour group arrived.
There are 2 places to jump from - one is rocky and lower, the other one is a little further through the woods and has a platform to jump from, it is about 6 feet higher.
MUST DO IN BERMUDA!

Tom Moores Jungle is a great place to spend an hour or so. It wasn’t that hard to find, down the hill from the Crystal Caves on the opposite side of the road to Rubis petrol station, through a car park. Follow the asphalt path past a grey block building and keep left to Blue Hole, beach and small caves. The Blue Hole was fantastic to jump into, getting out a little more difficult and be prepared for salt water. Can get a little crowded if your arrival coincides with a tour group. Plenty of birds and lizards to spot on the jungle walk.

Tom Moore's jungle is a reserve with a path through it. If you go in via the south end it is winding narrow wildlife track not not suitable for some. From the north end it is a wide open path to the blue pool where you can plunge in and meander a bit.
And if course it's next to the crystal caves,a pub and Ice cream parlour.

We had a great time trekking through the "jungle".
Take the plunge: go "cliff diving" into the crystal clear waters!

Can you tell me what app you downloaded for directions.
Also how did you get to the location? I’m going from Kings Wharf anddid the trip years ago. Remember a bus but specifics are vague. Thanks

I actually didn't use an app. You have to catch the Grotto Bay bus and get off at Grotto bay hotel stop. it a few yards from the gas station across the street

Good day, can you tell me easiest way via bus or ferry to get to home from Royal Naval Dockyard?
Thank you so much!
Would you suggest this location for solo travelers... Also during the month of January?

solo travelers--yes. The island seems very safe and there are others on the trails in case you have troubles. I am unsure of the climate in Jan. but I can guess it would not be a problem.

Do you have to know how to swim to take this tour? I don't know how to swim.

There is no mandatory swimming that is part of this attraction. There is a water hole where visitors jump into the water.

Is it too cold this time of the year (or in march) to swim in the lagoon/blue hole?

It depends if you don’t mind swimming in colder water. I went in October when it was in the 80’s with high humidity and swimming in a cave was too cold for me. The ocean was perfect however. I would recommend Bermuda any time of year. The caves are fun to explore even if you decide not to swim in them.

The directions you provided on getting to different spots in the jungle...did you enter closer to Grotto Bay or closer to Tom Moore's restaurant? Thanks.

Closer to the restaurant, I believe just to the left before you get to the restaurant.

What a great review- THANK YOU!! WE have a family of 6 going with one 2 year old. He loves hikes.. we go all the time - do you think this is doable with a lil one if there are 6 adults going?

Yes, he will be fine. There are not a lot of hills and plenty of places to stop to take in the sights.
