Spend 10 minutes in each room and then go back to your favorite for more fun. We like the airport, mechanics area, and the theatre quite a lot.

We took our almost seven year old here yesterday while we were just visiting St. George for an overnight trip. He had the best time, he loved everything. He loved the giant piano, and organ.

This is a great way to spend a day with kids. We took our 5 year old grandson and he loved it so much he made his parents take him the next day. The displays are clean and interactive for kids of all ages. the days we were there were not very crowded and we had time to enjoy each area without a lot of other kids being around crowding each other. Their hours have been effected becasue of staffing and covid 19 so plan ahead.

The museum, though wonderful in most ways can be inconvenient and frustrating. The museum is closed on Wednesdays !!! Can you imagine, in this very religious community they choose to close the place on a wednesday and open on sunday? The price is $5 per person whether one is 2 or 92 years old. They require one to sign a waiver that is neither correct legally, nor enforceable. No handicapped access. We tried from the handicap entrance twice but got no service (I think one has to make arrangements ahead of time)? The kids loved the museum once we made it in though. They are ages 5, 9, and 11. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Thanks so much for visiting, and for leaving a review! The COVID-19 pandemic caused us to adjust our schedule, which led to us being closed on Wednesdays. We are so sorry you couldn't access the elevator entrance! Being in a historic building means we have to send a staff member or volunteer to open that door when the sensor goes off. It's not a perfect system and we're working with the City of St. George to improve it. Our waiver has been approved by our legal team, and is the same concept as a waiver at a trampoline park or a haunted house! If you have any other concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us directly at info@sgchildrensmuseum.org.

We took 8 of our grandchildren there on a rainy day in St George and had a blast - all well designed interactive play areas - ages 4-11 all enjoyed it. They said it was one of the highlights of our stay in St George - clean and fun - highly recommend for a few hour stay - we had a hard time getting them to leave.

Be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours here. I had to persuade my 13 year old and 8 year old to go. But once they arrived, they outlasted me! We spent a good 3 to 3.5 hours there. There is A LOT of hands-on activities! I enjoyed it as well because I was able to sit back and learn from the different rooms that there are. There are rooms about natural disasters (i.e. earthquakes, volcanos), the solar system, music, etc. etc. I plan on coming back!

We took our 4 year old grandson and he loved it. Although some people thought it was fun for older children, I think the optimum age range would be 2 to around 2nd-3rd grade. There is so much creative fun to be had and plenty of hands-on exhibits. Clothes for dress up as a firefighter, construction work etc and a fun dinosaur area complete with a ride in an old mine wagon. We stayed 4 hours and our grandson would have happily stayed longer.

My Grandkids loved playing here and especially the theater. They are 10 almost to old, but still had fun. Then we went out and rode the real wooden merry go round that is kind of hidden and they enjoyed splashing in the stream and rocks. It was a great afternoon.

The museum is so fun! Two floors packed full of fun activity rooms where kids can explore. Great for hot summer days or cold winter days. Perfect for young children. They have a cool science room for older kids. Our family looks forward to our museum trip! A perfect spot for Grandparents to take visiting family.

I love this fun place for kids and they just run from place to place. Very well maintained, fun things for kids to do. If I had a little make sure you know, I think it is a little pricey.

We have toddler areas for our youngest guests. Generally, we tell guests that if their child is walking, they will enjoy exploring in the museum. Because we learn in different ways, each exhibit room was thoughtfully designed with components that offer our guests many different ways to Discover, Imagine, and Create!

We encourage guests of all ages to explore the museum! If you have an older child, they might enjoy playing with our robotic cubelets, learning more about Southern Utah geology and dinosaurs, or driving our submarine! We also have opportunities for older kids to be Junior Volunteers during their visit.

We will be decorated for Halloween through October, however, the extracurricular events will be held only on Oct. 23,24, and 31st. Thank you for your interest!
