‪Went here today for first time. Great friendly staff and vendors. I will be back again for sure. Parking is a little tricky as not on site but can walk over. ‬

‪We visited in late October, so well past peak produce season, and the market was still lively and full of interesting and delicious products. It has a great, welcoming, laid-back vibe.‬

‪Fine as far as farmers markets go‬

‪A relatively small but decent farmers market. We came here for lunch hoping for more food stands, but most of the stands seemed to be selling specialty food products. We ended up getting a mango lassi from the Nepalese stand (too much yogurt and not enough mango, very sour), a concha from one of the baked goods stands (tasty), and a lemonade from the lemonade stand (fine). The setting is in a parking lot with no shade, though there is some seating underneath tents. I enjoyed this but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. ‬

‪A Must-Do Stop for First-Timers‬

‪A great stop for anyone visiting Burlington, and a super introduction to the city for first-timers, including parents of college students going to school in the area. We particularly like the market in the fall vs. summer -- it's cooler, and the harvest season is in full swing. Don't miss samples from local distilleries -- we're now big fans of Wild hart. Beyond the market, there are also interesting stores, coffee shops and galleries to check out. We had our dog with us on the most recent visit, so that limited our ability to explore, but we'll make up for it next time.‬

‪Vibrant Farmer's Market on the south end of the Waterfront in Burlington. Parking can be dicey on the weekends. Gorgeous and colorful produce; many varieties of maple syrup; local distilled products including gin, bourbon, vodka; jewelry and weaving; on site hot food and drinks. Prices overall were quite reasonable.‬

‪I was really looking forward to seeing the farmers market. I don’t know if COVID struck. But the mArket was very small. The vendors that were available were very nice. Hopefully things will get better soon.‬

As the Farmers Market, like many in this state, are transitioning through the changing scene of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our vendors had to make tough decisions on whether to attend this season (2021) out of safety for themselves and their own businesses. Compared to 2020, amidst heavier safety guidelines, we are excited to have more vendors return to the Market. We appreciate your patience through these changing times.

‪Nice place to walk around‬

‪We walked around the market one warm morning and it was so nice. Just big enough that you can see everything in an hour or so. We bought some great slow fired baguette, Vermont cheddar cheese and cheese curds, some terrific hot sauce and some apples and hot chocolate. The fresh flower were beautiful and they had some fantastic smelling maple baked goods among other things that looked very interesting. Go early as it does get very crowded by mid-morning.‬

‪Awesome that they continue this through the winter indoors. I could not purchase much due to a flight the next day, I would have bought many of the varieties of Kimchee and root veggies if I had more time. Wish I would have visited this place on day 1 of the trip. Recommend you check it out. I was put off by the politics of the the vendors and the University but other than that enjoyed the hour I spent there.‬

‪Stopped by as part of our trip to meet up with friends and had a good time. The selection of produce, while a bit pricey, is great and the variety of locally produced items, from fresh cheeses to gin, was a blast to sort through.

Be sure to check the adjacent lot for a quality bookstore as well!

Note: Bring cash if you can as some folks there will give a better deal that way over using a 'Square' credit/debit card reader. Most stalls do take cards though, so don't fret if you forget the green!‬
