We had a fantastic trip bicycling the coast of Rhode Island during the third week of May. It’s our third tour with Great Bike Tours. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence keeps bringing us back! And the guides are just plain fun! We stayed at three stunning hotels. In addition to outstanding biking we had the opportunity to have a boat ride on a 58 ft Rum Runner and a sailing trip on an 85 ft schooner. Great food, a tour of a Vanderbilt mansion, overnight on Block Island and a rail bike ride topped off a glorious week. Pure joy! Great Bike Tours takes great care of us!! We’ll be back!

This was the second trip that we have taken with GBT. We have fully enjoyed both experiences. We were taken care of each day and we enjoyed having the team take care of our bags and making arrangements for our great meals together. Our guides could not be more helpful and engaging. Our bikes were just right for us and our helmets were top notch. We really like that this is a family business and we feel like part of the family when we are with them. We are about to put a deposit on our next adventure with GBT. We highly recommend them and have already recommended them to friends.

We just returned from the RI tour and absolutely loved it. It was our first bike tour so we weren't sure exactly what to expect, but it exceeded all of our expectations. The views were spectacular; the hotels, restaurants, and extra activities were top-notch. And the guides! Elliot and Julian were the best - fun, attentive, organized, knowledgeable, and they made everyone in our small group feel like family. We will definitely be back for a future GBT tour.

My husband and I had a fantastic trip with Great Bike Tours!! We didn't know what to expect and were treated to excellent service and information. The guides were exceptional, the fresh seafood was phenomenal and biking along the coast was breath-taking. The time of year was perfect with all the rhododendrons and roses in bloom! We are looking forward to our next Great Bike Tour!!!

We have traveled with Great Bike Tours for the past 7 years and loved every trip so much we invited our friends to join us this year...and they loved it so much that want to go more trips . 😁👍🏻
We love the bike routes, the lodging, & the extra activities that are included. We meet and make long lasting friendships through these bike tours. We highly recommend Great Bike Tours! 👍🏻😁

Our GBT biking holiday to Savannah and the barrier islands in Georgia was a beautiful way to start our Spring bicycling season. The rides were mostly flat -- the biggest hills were the bridges and only a few of those! The Savannah part of the trip was just plain fun! St. Simons and Jeykll Islands were a revelation--this is Georgia!? The side trips enlightening and inspiring and a great chance to meet our fellow bikers, as were the meals--southern cooking & pecan pie! The down time was look-up-and-take-a-deep-breath-of-fresh-sea-air relaxing. Nice.

GBT South Carolina was a terrific trip1 Rides were fun and excursions exceptional. This was our 4th trip with GBT and guides were fabulous, accommodations top notch. GBT provides a variety of wonderful outdoor activities. Can't wait to do another!

If you want to experience over-the-top customer service on your next bike trip, then you don’t have to look any further than Great Bike Tours.
Here are two examples why:
The Kindle Surprise. After leaving Bristol for our second destination almost an hour’s drive away in Newport, my wife was notified by our Bristol hotel that she had left her Kindle in our room. We asked Simon if he would mind picking up the Kindle the following week when his second Rhode Island tour stayed at the Bristol hotel. He graciously agreed, but had a surprise in store. While our group was biking the following day, Simon drove back to the Bristol hotel to retrieve the Kindle and delivered it to my wife at dinner that night!
The Customer’s Comfort Comes First. On the first day of riding, the shortest woman in our group was uncomfortable due to the bike seat post height that had been adjusted as low as possible. By the next morning it was a different story. Our guides Elliot and Julian had scoured the area to find a bike shop where they acquired a new seat post that fit her perfectly. She was a happy rider from that time on.
So it should be clear why this was our second trip with Great Bike Tours. Spectacular bike routes. Excellent food and accommodations. Activities that appeal to a variety of tastes. And if you ever need anything, they respond with a smile and do everything they can to exceed your expectations.

My favorite part of the trip was Block Island, but the entire trip was magical. This is our 9th trip with Great Bike Tours and they never disappoint. Fun filled days and evenings to remember. Julian, Elliott and Simon are top notch guides. They are always two steps ahead with their planning. Cannot say enough positives about this company. Give them a try and you will soon be a treat customer.

What a great trip with a great company. This was my second trip with Great Bike Tours and I highly recommend them. It was a wonderful itinerary with beautiful hotels. It is a joy to work with Simon, Jess and their team. They go well out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable bike ride vacation. They are helpful m, personable and fun to be with
