Louise with Oro Travel made our trip super easy! We were amazed at how smooth everything went. Our private driver Henry was happy to make stops whenever we wanted. We easily went from van to boat to canoe to hiking trail, all with excellent local guides. Nicaragua is sadly under-visited by tourists but there are some truly amazing places to visit. Oro Travel will get you there!

We contacted Oro Travel and planed with them a 10 days private tour of Nicaragua. Their plan was great and their service was amazing. Every problem that we encountered or things that we wanted to change along the way, even at the last minute, were always dealt professionally by Rossana. She gave us good ideas for activities that suited our group and did her very best for us. Our guide, Julio was knowledgeable, nice, fun to be with and helpful in so many ways. We even got very close to our driver, who was with us all the way to the airport. Overall, a great agency, great tour. Very much recommended

Circuit sur le Nicaragua depuis le Costa Rica. Aucun respect des règles de sécurité : bus vétuste, accoudoirs et poignées cassés, coffre trop petit pour tous les bagages, sièges ne tenaient pas en position assise. Valises placées sur les sièges avant et glacière dans le couloir puis suite aux protestations mise sur les marches. Nous avions demandé à ce que le bus soit changé. Refus de l'agence Oro sous-traitant de Tucaya pour la partie Nicaragua. Oro nous avait promis pour nous faire taire un mini-bus supplémentaire pour les bagages le jour de notre retour sur le Costa Rica et notre séjour à Tamarindo. Mais le jour du départ aucun mini-bus. 30 mn après le départ, le bus tombe en panne. Avons perdu 1h30 à attendre 2 minibus pour nous et les bagages. Temps et distances mal évalués, jusqu'à 6h-7h de bus/jour à l'aller et au retour. Déjeuners pris entre 14 et 16h. Avons dû payer notre déjeuner sur le trajet vers Tamarindo car nous aurions dû être à notre hôtel vers 12h30 en all inclusive mais avec notre attente pour le bus et les 3h d'attente pour passer la frontière, nous sommes arrivés à 17h30. Oro a refusé de prendre en charge ce repas malgré les déboires ! La veille au soir le responsable de l'agence de Granada devait venir nous rencontrer lors du dernier dîner. Il n'est pas venu et pour cause. En conclusion, aucune écoute de l'agence ORO. Programme à revoir. Une journée pour faire Granada, Managua (aucune intérêt) et Léon A/R est trop juste. Léon mérite plus que les 2h30 passées.

Can not recommend ORO Travel enough! My partner and I have been to Nicaragua twice, Guatemala and Colombia... all organized by Lou of ORO Travel. Each trip was perfectly planned to meet our personal interests. All of the drivers, guides and interpreters have been friendly and knowledgeable and every accommodation was beautiful.
We always felt in good hands with ORO Travel... especially when we had to leave Colombia quickly due to COVID-19!!! Lou was instrumental in securing us transportation and flights to enable us to return home. She stayed in constant contact until we were safe and sound in Canada.
Sadly our trip to Colombia was cut short. We will go back and when we do... we look forward to Lou planning our adventures.

Thank you very much for your recommendation. First of all, we were very happy to be able to plan your fourth trip with us, as you mention, twice to Nicaragua, Guatemala and Colombia! Of course getting our clients home safely during the current COVID-19 pandemic was our priority. We are glad you made it home safe and sound. We went with Oro for a day out from Granada to Ometepe. Pick up was on time. Driver and guide very friendly and helpful. Easy drive to ferry at San Jorge, fun doing the 1 hour crossing with great views of the volcanoes. On the island, picked up by driver, did the museum (mostly pottery, interesting), walked a nature trail (saw monkeys), had a great lunch by the beach, swam in a freshwater lake, and had great views of the volcanoes. Return on time. Overall a great day.

Agence très sérieuse avec un service de qualité, j'ai utilisé les services d'ORO Travel durant le mois d'août et tout s'est parfaitement bien passé: l'agence s'est chargée de la réservation de mes billets d'avion nationaux mais également de toutes les activités, les hôtels et le chauffeur hispanophone. L'organisation était très réussie, ainsi chaque jour j'ai pu profiter des merveilles du Nicaragua: l'île volcanique d'Ometepe au coeur du lac Nicaragua, les Isletas de Granada, la ville coloniale de Leon, l'île paradisiaque de Corn Island, l'ascension nocturne du volcan Masaya, la descente en luge du volcan Cerro Neg ro...
L'agence ORO Travel a été soucieuse de tous mes déplacements durant mon séjour dans le pays et est restée toujours disponible lorsque nous avons eu besoin d'un renseignement. Egalement, elle n'hésite pas à trouver une solution de remplacement lorsqu'un imprevu survient.
Je vous recommande ORO Travel pour votre voyage au Nicaragua, vous ne serez pas déçu !

voilà un tour operator qui a une large gamme, non seulement au Nicaragua, mais dans toute l'Amérique Centrale, avec des accompagnateurs et des guides de qualité. Je les ai laissé décider de mon itinéraire et j'ai vraiment découvert un Nicaragua authentique et sauvage, loin des sentiers de graviers des parcs du Costa Rica

ORO TRAVEL m'a, du 16 au 29 avril 2018, fourni les transferts privés avec chauffeur hispanophone entre différents points du Nicaragua ainsi que plusieurs "excursions"( avec ou sans guide hispanophone) dans les régions de Leon, Esteli, Granada et Ometepe.
Je ne peux que me féliciter d'avoir choisi ce prestataire dont les services se sont révélés impeccables.

Our group of nine booked three day tours with ORO, with Julio Flores as our amazing and patient guide. ORO arranged minibus travel from our rental house, lunches and all entrance fees for our numerous activities. We did their Granada tour/Masaya volcano at night, zip lining/ hiking on Mombacho volcano, and a ferry and day trip to Omotepe island. On our first tour (in Granada), two of us became sick from an unfortunate meal the night before. Julio went above-and-beyond arranged that us two unwell ones could sit in a cool hotel lobby with access to a bathroom while he continued the tour with the rest of our group, picking us up later that afternoon once we felt better. Oro travel was recommended to us by a friend who has used them many times. We couldn't be happier. Working with Genesis made the trip so easy. After picking the tour of Leon and Granada as a base to start with we were able to add additional days at both the beginning and end. Oro was able to upgrade our hotels, arrange travel from Costa Rica to Nicaragua and personalize the trip for us, changing a kayak trip to a boat trip. We had the same guide and driver (Gino and Milton) for the whole time. Both of them were fun and taught us so much about their country. Always asking if there was somewhere else we wanted to stop & helped suggest restaurants ( Comeda San Benito in Leon was great). Would highly recommend working with them.

Je cherche un chauffeur francophone pour nous faire découvrir son pays pendant 21 jours en Nov 2020 nous sommes 2 séniores dynamiques, bonnes marcheuses recherchant le contact avec les habitants, participer à des activités de leur vie:cuisine cueillette, découvrir les us et coutumes ect;
