‪A must do for couples and families.‬

‪We were delighted that we happened across RoDa Boats in Porto Cristo while out for a walk. We spoke with them about the options available and then followed up via WhatsApp to book a license free boat for a couple of days time. On the day of rental everything was very straightforward in terms of paperwork and their explanations on how to pilot the boat were very clear. They have great advice on where to visit in the time we had. If you are in the area this is a must do trip. It offered great independence and we ran to our own schedule when out and about. The licence free boat is easy to operate and anchor and offered plenty of space. It was just the two of us this time but if we are back with the kids this will be top of our to do list. There was only one difficulty and that was the ladder at the back of the boat. It’s pretty small and lacks a hand grip on the actual boat when trying to get back on after snorkelling in one of the gorgeous bays we visited. It took a couple of attempts to get back up and I’m sure it was not the most elegant of boarding attempts!! Putting that aside I’ll be doing this again given the opportunity, loved it and really great service.‬

‪Really good fun and beautiful scenery‬

‪We took a 4hr boat rental from Roda Boats today.
Had a great time.
We picked the boat up from Cala Bona (we are staying just down the coast in Cala Millor.
We received good instructions prior to leaving.
The boat was a 5m, 15hp self drive (I don't have a boat license). There was 4 of us, but the boat could take 5. It cost us just over £200 plus a refundable £300,
We were directed north across the bay to a cave. We anchored down nearby and swam in to the cave. Getting back on to the boat was not easy as the ladder was bent back on itself when folded down, but we all managed.
We then went on to another little cove that was beautiful.
The water was crystal clear near the land and turquoise where we stopped.
It was a calm day, but coming past 2 of the headlands was a little choppy, but great fun.
We did 3 hours in the end but it was definitely worth the money.
Heartily recommend.‬

‪Muy mala experiencia. Avise que si se podia anular porque vi que habia mala mar y lloveria (ese dia hasta granizo)Había bastantes olas; nos comentaron que estarían a 0.2 y estaban a 0.6 y el barco parecía que volaba. Sabian que estaba ma, porque nada mas salir del puerto, fueron a buscarnos y les dijimos que volviamos que era imposible navegar y mas con 2 niñas pequeñas. Nos hicieron salir para cobrar el minimo que son 2 horas + gasolina (120,00 €) MENUDOS SINVERGUENZAS. no estuvimos ni media hora.‬

‪Esperienza pessima, barca lentissima e sporca.
Personale arrogante, abbiamo chiamato numerose
volte dalla barca (15 cavalli massimo, nessuno ci aveva informato di ciò. La ragazza che ha risposto al telefono era italiana, poteva informarci dato che in Italia è diverso) e siamo stati richiamati dopo ben 20 minuti.
210€ per riuscire a fare solo una caletta sono un furto.
Gancio del tendalino rotto.
Non abbiamo neanche fatto un bagno perché l'ancora non arrivava da nessuna parte.
Siamo tornati prima perché non è sicuramente stata
un'esperienza rilassante e la ragazza non se ne é
minimamente preoccupata.
Consiglio: ci sono tantissimi altri noleggi che con 50€ in più forniscono barche migliori.
Noleggio da Cala Bona, assente anche dalle mappe.‬

‪Tolle Betreuung, sehr flexibel bei der Planung von unserer kleinen Tour, wir wohnen auf der Insel und wollten das schon immer mal ausprobieren.
Die Mitarbeiter sind super hilfsbereit sind geduldig und erklären alles in Ruhe.
Wir sind in Cala Bona gestartet und sind dann erstmal entspannt Richtung Cala Millor und dem Punt d'Anamer gefahren. Wir sind um 9 Uhr gestartet und das war für den ersten Trip mit einem Boot eine gute Zeit, da um die Zeit noch wenig Betrieb im Hafen und in der Bucht war....und in der Sonne war es noch nicht so heiss 😎.
Unsere beiden Begegnungen mit den 2 Ausflugsschiffen haben wir (mein Mann🤩) gut gemeistert...es hat etwas mehr geschaukelt aber das hat auch Spass gemacht und ich bin sicher nicht unbedingt Seefest.
Unser Fazit zum Eingewöhnen reichen erstmal 2 Stunden aber beim nächsten Mal werden es 4 Stunden!🚤-‬

‪Première réservation un peu poisseuse, nous sommes tombés en panne à la sortie du port, mais équipe au top et rassurante, et seconde réservation accompagnée de Hugo, notre skipper.
Un moment exceptionnel, avec deux petits loulous heureux.
Merci encore Hugo pour ton professionnalisme et ta gentillesse. Le mal de mer aura eu notre peau, sinon crois nous qu’on aurait de nouveau réservé.
On se voit vite pour boire un verre avant notre retour au pays basque!
Je recommande a 100%, équipe adorable !!!‬

‪Malgré un retour prématuré...‬

‪Nous avons loué un bateau sans permis pour 5 personnes et pour 4 heures chez Roda Boats. Nous sommes reçu par Hugo, très sympa et qui parle parfaitement le français (ce qui nous arrange bien ! 🤩 ). Une fois les explications données nous voici parti en mer et malheureusement elle est un peu agitée ! Trop pour certains et sommes obligés de faire demi tour au bout d'une heure de navigation.
Explication donnée à notre retour à Hugo qui très gentiment nous propose une balade avec lui comme skipper un autre soir dans la semaine pour compenser notre retour prématuré ! Rendez-vous pris avec lui et nous avons passé un super moment avec Hugo et se explications...
UN GRAND MERCI à lui pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme !‬

‪Nous avons loué un bâteau sans permis pour 4h00 (09h15-13h15) au départ de Porto Cristo et c'est franchement le top! L'équipe est sympa, le bâteau est en bon état, et les conseils donnés permettent de passer un bon moment en mer en faisant quelques haltes dans de superbes criques. Un conseil: faites votre balade le matin car il n'y a quasiment personne dans les criques.‬
