I took the 5 day Kitesurf course here and i had a great time while doing so. Wojtek and Michael made sure to pay attention to every detail and at the same time they made the course really fun in a relaxed atmosphere. I can only recommend!

I went on a group surf lesson by myself Alex the guide showed us what to do and how to explained very well and made me very comfortable Alex was very professional yet still had good humour I would recommend this to anyone who’s wanting to learn how to surf

Very disappointing experience with this sailing school. We paid for a 5-day internship for 6 people. The equipment is old and poorly maintained, some sails are torn and holes are not counted on the boards. We promise 3-4 hours of lessons a day but you spend little more than 2 hours in the water. The rest of the time is dedicated to transportation, rigging sails, storing equipment, etc. We had one teacher for 8 people. Un certain Michael. Michael did not sail with us. He stayed by the beach. So once he shows you the theory, you have to fend for yourself on the water. For comparison, there was another school that sailed on the same spot (Max School I think): we immediately saw the difference: material in excellent condition, all the sails were already rigged and stored in a large truck. Students therefore do not waste time and can spend maximum time in the water. Students at this school all had headsets with headsets connected to the teacher. The teacher sailed with them and gave them advice over the water, through headsets. Super efficient!
About Professor Michael, not very nice. He was very unpleasant with the students several times so much that we were about to leave the course before the end.
Conclusion: one senses a school in decline, which lives on its reputation and no longer invests much in materials or teaching. All for a high Award.

I am surprised by the fact you have made it your mission to review us in more than one place, that's the sort of person you are.
You booked online, we gave you a discount for a large family booking, from the start to the end of the booking process it was professional and you were picked up on time every day and the communication was good, nothing about this has been mentioned in your review? why not? We even collected you from 2 different hotels.
I am surprised to read this about Michael as he had never anything other than 5* reviews but maybe it is because you as the father kept butting in trying to do his job and give the wrong information to the other students (your children) to the point where he asked you to stop as he was the instructor. You naturally didn't like this and have therefore decided to review us with only 2*.
There is nothing wrong with the sails we use but you are correct the boards have seen better days. As for the comment about having to rig up, as a beginner and intermediate it is part of the learning process to know how to prepare the equipment, once again you don't know what you are talking about.
Flag Beach has been around since 1988, that's 36 years, there is nothing about decline in this business and each year we teach more and more people, you just have to look at our google reviews to see how many satisfied customers we get, there will always be one person that is unhappy because that it how they are usually in life.
Finally we are always striving to be better and are always happy to hear constructive criticism but your review is far from that.

First timers on the island, first timers with Flag Beach, and first timers Wing Foiling.
We met a few different members of the team, all were easy to chat with and informed about the island, conditions, kite, windsurf, surf, foil and skate and gave us some great hints about other places to see - our instructor - Joy - was brilliant!!
We booked 4 days, and extended it to 5 days wing foiling. The course was comprehensive and the tailored lessons gave us a taste and the best start possible - using a wing on the beach and in the bay, travelling up and downwind, the basics of turns (again, we're complete beginners) , then foiling behind a boat.
The boat is excellent!! More time on the water, with instructions and helpful hints near by and a place to observe and learn. Joy has diverse knowledge, some great skills and a big dose of fun!!!
We'll be back!!

he reason I keep coming back to flag beach for more than 20
years renting/doing courses in kite and windsurf is because Ben the owner only employs the best staff.
This time I did a 5 day wingfoil course where my instructor ,Olympic level sailor Joy made it her mission in life to get me foiling . My being almost 62 years old made this no easy matter but I was wing foiling at the end.
If you are time poor like me and want to get wing foiling quickly I would recommend this course.
Alex the surf instructor who picked me up from the hotel was also such a lovely person who happened to be a world level inline skater.

Alex is the best coach. He has a good vibe, energy and knowledge. He was very helpful. We booked everything via flagbeach website and our accomodation was pretty good. We get airport transfer, breakfast, lunchpack…so everthying.

Great time learning how to kite surf with flag beach. First day was controlling the kite on the beach, day 2 taken out to sea in a rib, initially body surfing and was given a board to try at the end of the session. Day 3&4 building up confidence going left and right. The instructor on the boat was great, kept an eye on you, providing tips on what you can improve and made sure we were all safe. Would definitely recommend mainly due to boat instructor!

Took a three-day windsurf course for begynners with my family. Very friendly guide/teacher. Learned to tack and gybe and everything within two days on the water. Got this amazing “I am mastering something” feeling. I really recommend flag beach windsurf. A truly astonishing experience!

if you are booking in advance all we ask is a small deposit usually 60 euros with the rest paid once you get here. I hope that helps

siamo in 3 ragazzi, 2 partono da zero e io porterei la mia attrezzatura farei comunque un uscita privata il primo giorno per ripassare un po’ di cose. Vorremmo iniziare martedì 12 luglio fino al 17 compreso.
quanto costa il corso base compresa l’attrezzatura?
