Had breakfast here as we had an overnight stay at the adjoining Premier Inn. Full English breakfast was excellent - perfectly cooked to order and very tasty. The restaurant now has a decent coffee machine, which is a great improvement since our last visit some years ago.
Sadly, the same cannot be said of the decor, which had not been updated in that time. It was dark and dingy and in urgent need of a facelift! The entrance lobby and passageway to the restaurant smelled of damp. The carpets were dingy and fraying in places. However, the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the lone waitress, who was lovely. Could do with more staff though!

Very rude male , with no customer service skills whatsoever at the booking station. On entering, we asked if there were any tables available, to which he asked “ did we have a reservation “?
Our answer was “no, we are in the area and looking for somewhere to eat”
This male replied “well in that case then, no, we don’t “
He looked at us and told us, he has no idea when a table would be ready, maybe a half an hour or more. On being spoke to in such a manner, we said we would leave it, we thanked him (as we have manners) and left .

We were celebrating 61 years of marriage, decide to ho yo woodlands gravesend. Have used this place for many many years but because of covid first time back for 3 years. Really terrible meal,my bur was like charcoal my wife's fish was all battery.never had such a bad meal as this. Requested to see manager who waved all charges.will never return to that place as long as I live.they managed to spoil our special day.

My husband and I thought we’d go out for a meal for a change. We ordered lamb roast. The lamb was gristly and the vegetables and stuffing were stone cold. The waitress brought us some more vegetables but it was obvious they’d just been heated in the microwave, not cooked properly and lukewarm. Will never go there again. We’ll go to the local carvery in future. We went without dessert as we didn’t want to give this place any more custom.
Also, our table was right by the fire exit. This must be a hazard.

Amazing, Sharon who was serving us was great she made sure we had every we needed and always had a smile on her face. The food was served quickly and was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here for Christmas Day again!!!

Spoilt my birthday. Advertising roast dinners until 6pm. Booked for 5.30pm - run out. Terribly disappointed. Replacement choice was adequate except some of my son's was missing. My son has problems with his hands and has to drink through a straw - guess what - run out!

Lunch for 3 today , appallingly slow service , tepid chicken , cold chips . no one came to ask if were happy with our food.
