Be aware that the marketing for Skydive YV is a little misleading. I booked my daughter in for a tandem skydive for her 18th birthday - Skydive YarraValley NEVER jump from ('up to') 15,000ft as advertised - they only ever jump from ('up to') 12,000ft which means a significantly shorter freefall compared to other companies. Wish I'd done my due diligence a bit better before committing my $$$ :(...

We understand how disappointing it would have been for your daughter to not jump at the expected 15,000ft.
This certainly wasn't our intention, skydiving is supposed to be an amazing and out of this world experience that leaves you on a natural high for the rest of the day. It should not result in you feeling let down or feeling like you missed out.
There are a number of reasons why we can't always reach the advertised 'up to 15,000ft' height. This can be due to weather conditions or air traffic control. Sometimes when we receive final clearance to get to height we are already making our ascent, which unfortunately means there is no time to discuss this with our customers to manage expectations.
We again apologise for your experience. If you'd like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us at feedback@skydive.com.au.

This was an experience of a lifetime. For someone like me that has a fear of heights, the team at Yarra Valley from the time we stepped in made you feel welcomed, at ease and safe! All safety procedures explained thoroughly . This team is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend giving this a go!

Did a tandem jump.From the initial greeting at reception to the ‘goodbye’ after the jump, this organisation is professional with friendly staff. There appears to be process to make customers feel comfortable,relaxed & it works. Spectators are welcome.I have no hesitation in recommending. I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Skydive Yarra Valley.I’ll be back

One of the best experiences of my whole life! The staff were super professional and friendly, they made us feel completely at ease. The jump was phenomenal- would recommend doing it (and doing it with these guys) 10000%! Loved it!!!

Overall this was a great experience. You feel safe the whole time and everything is explained really well. The photo packages are really expensive so I probably wouldn’t bother. The only complaint I had is that they were running really late (more than 1.5hours) and didn’t advise us. You get great views of the Yarra valley

I bought this with RedBalloon vouchers as a 40th birthday gift and was not disappointed.
The crew were great, facilities were well set up and the skydive was beyond words - you have to experience it firsthand to understand.
Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Big thanks to Skydive Yarra Valley for an unforgettable experience.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The most exciting and fabulous experience in Australia !! Bucket list - check ! Wonderful service before and during the skydive .. Kyle from customer service was so kind and patient with the reservation . On the day the staff were so kind and patient and most importantly my tandem instructor Jack - the best ever !!! So very kind and made me relax and enjoy my first dive making me want for more !! Will be back for sure and mostly because the staff are out of this world for sure 😍😎

I booked with Skydive Australia over Yarra Valley at the end of April. The experience itself was unbelievable and the staff made it all the better. Booking with the company was easy and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The day of the jump, they provided transportation from the CBD out to Yarra valley and took us around to some local cafes in the area. Before the jump all the staff made us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely book with this company again and would recomend them to anyone.

The team here make for a great experience all round from the time you arrive through to the time you land. They have a great balance of keeping it safe, and making it fun. The jump is a must do for any one who is even a bit of an adrenaline junkie

Skydiving has been on my bucket list for a while so when my brother decided to jump for his 21st I was stoked to get on board.
My tandem master was Kev who has a hilarious sense of humour and made me relax instantly! The whole team were flawless from arrival to departure and the whole day ran so smoothly. Louise on the front desk was amazing as well especially considering they were a team member down.
The icing on the cake was our mum's who decided after coming along to watch us, that they couldn't miss out on the fun either and jumped too!
I can't wait to come back and do it again. And hopefully end up with a better video this time. (Does anyone ever like their own voice or face on film)?

I will be there during winter .. wonder if there will be any jumps during winter ? A friend of mine told that I wont stand a chance to jump during winter coz his got cancelled trice ..
