‪We stop here several times in the summer. It’s like an old fashioned general store/ candy shop / ice cream parlor. You can pick 10 little candies for $1. Great for little ones. Huge variety of weird gummy candies and chocolate covered treats. ‬

‪What a great little pit stop. I love this place. The smell of fresh herbs and spices when you walk in is wonderful. Many amazing bulk choices. Sweet treats and savory. Great ice cream. Good throw back to a small town grocery. ‬

‪This is a charming place to browse and buy a good variety of flours, grains, baking items, jams and jellies, snacks, nuts, candies, and the best hand dipped ice cream served at an old fashioned counter. The store has a long history and you can see some of the articles and memorabilia displayed around the counter. Spices are an great deal. There's a gluten free section, too. Don't miss this.‬

‪The general store in Cooksville is a great place to stop to find all sorts of fun food items. They have just about every kind of spice and seasoning that you can imagine! Fantastic selection, try the Amish churned butter... you won't buy any other kind again!‬

‪A neat little store that when entering takes you back 100 years in time. Stocked with lots of healthy items for your kitchen. Don't pass it up and don't pass up the wonderful ice cream they hand scoop.‬

‪Peanut-free ice cream and gluten-free flours‬

‪Very allergy friendly food options. None of the ice cream options contained peanut ingredients and I was surprised to find a wide variety of alternative flours.

I loved the historic elements of the building like the wooden ice box for sodas and the wooden display cases. The kids especially liked the spinning counter stools.

There was an interesting mix of items for sale - everything from pantry staples to salsas to aprons and ice cream cones.‬
