While biking on the White River State Trail, came upon this at Rt120 crossing. Checked it would be open on our way back (open til 5p) weekends only.
We had the Turkey with Cranberry on oat bread and the Turkey Caesar wrap. They give regular chips and a dill pickle. Was nice we could substitute flavored chips for no additional cost.
Nice setting in Springfield's historic Train Depot. Had a gentleman playing guitar, nice music, fun artsy and unusual items for sale. Lots of places to sit outside tho we ate inside during a quick moving thunderstorm.
We will go back as we didn't finish biking this trail due to rain.
Even if you aren't biking a quaint place to stop!

My husband and I drove past Pedal and Cup and were so excited to enjoy a bike ride on the gorgeous path next to the business. We got up the next morning and drove back only to find they were closed. It was a Friday.... in the middle of June.....closed. Bummer.
I called the number on the dark door and was told they were only open Saturday and Sunday. We were so very disappointed. How can a business be closed except for the weekends during prime tourist season?

I am so sorry that you missed us! We are only open on Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I hope you give us a try sometime.

Very nice business. Great trail for regular people looking for a nice afternoon activity. Shop has interesting items and cute shirts. Good smoothies. Lunch items too.

Pedal & Cup is such a great, quaint little place. So friendly also! My husband, son and I stopped on our way into Lake Geneva and had a great lunch on one of their tables outside. We loved it so much we came back the next day to rent bikes and took a ride on the beautiful trail right next to the building. To our surprise, there was a very nice man playing a guitar and singing on the porch when we got back so we had lunch outside again and listened to him. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's so peaceful you would never know that the busy city of Lake Geneva is just a couple miles down the road. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I rented bikes here so we could get out and explore the bike path. It was lovely! The shop owners were helpful and kind. The place is really cute; there are local arts and crafts for sale inside, and they also serve sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, etc. I highly recommend this for people who want to get away from the busy streets of downtown Lake Geneva, get outdoors, explore and exercise.

We had a fun time renting bikes. A quick drive (about 5-10 minutes) from Downtown Lake Geneva. That man there was very kind. We tried the tandem bike, it was a little difficult at first but was very fun after we got used to it. A great thing to do. We rode for an hour, and that was a good amount of time. We had a group of 5 friends, and would do it again.

My husband, myself, ten year old daughter and 6 year old son took in this little gem of a business on our way through LG this past weekend and what a perfect surprise!! Adorable historic facility with wonderful business owners that are really good at what they do. We rented our bikes from them, great shape and decent quality, and hit the trail. It was a fun, scenic ride! This would be a good time for all ages and fitness levels. My little guy couldn't finish the trail so we had to turn around but he did give a great go at it and enjoyed himself. We didn't eat there, although the food looked and smelled wonderful but as my children said "we give the smoothies two thumbs up!" Adults pay for the passes for the trails, bike rentals can be rented by the hour, half or full day, and helmets are avail at no extra charge. A good deal!

Chad the owner & his family provide great & quick service. The bikes are good & they give you all information upfront. The white river trail is pleasant & scenic. Great gift & snack shop. Smoothies are delicious.
In case of emergency ( we had one when 1 of our impatient kids strayed off), Chad did not waver & immediately reassured us while personally went to look for lost one. It was a happy ending needless to say.

Two couples rented bikes at Pedal & Cup. Nice Schwin hy-bred bikes to use. Then came back for sandwichs & 'refreshing fruit smoothies' . Friendly staff & a fun afternoon for all.

Pedal & Cup is 1) a place to rent bikes 2) a café, and 3) a gift shop. We rented bikes last week and had a great time. It is located right in the middle of the eleven-mile long White River Bicycle Trail, just a short drive from Lake Geneva. We opted to ride west towards Elkhorn, but we would like to return some time to ride east to Burlington. The trail is flat and wide, and goes through woods and farmland. My husband said the scenery wasn’t breathtaking, but I said that if it were breathtaking, we would probably be out of breath! There were several spots where we rode through “tree tunnels.” Even on a pleasant Sunday morning, the trail was not crowded. After our ride, we returned to Pedal & Cup and shared a turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo, along with some delicious iced tea. We ate inside, but there are several picnic tables outside. Pedal & Cup also offers smoothies, ice cream, gourmet coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. The staff was very friendly, and a guitarist was strumming and singing on the front porch. Renting bikes here is a fun way to spend a day!
