Public Public Market is very cool. It's an fun activity to go eat there! We actually came twice while in Milwaukee over the long weekend. Saturday late afternoon it was packed, so my 5 year old was happy to get his smoothie and get out. Monday afternoon he wasn't thrilled to stop here and get food to have for dinner on the train home, but when we got in and it was not crowded and he could see everything in the market he was happy.
We all found it fun to walk around and look at everything. Then pick what to get for dinner. And pick a couple of treats for desert.
My husband sat upstairs with our luggage, while we walked around. It was cool that he could look down to wave at us.
Over our 2 separate trips we got vegan food from On the Bus, Smoothies from Aladdin, fruit from Foltz Family Market, Olive oil from Oro di Oliva, and cookies from C. Adams Bakery.
Everything was good, and we would get the same things again!

A me personalmente piacciono molto i mercati, cerco di visitarli nelle città dove vado. Questo di Milwakee non è grandissimo, e non è un mercato classico, ma ci sono molti stand di prodotti gastronomici.

It was kind of small compared to public markets in other large cities that I have been to but it did have an array of items. It had several popular restaurants, a wine shop, a cheese shop, a spice shop, and a candy shop to name a few. They were all decorated for Christmas which put us in the Christmas spirit!

Always enjoy stopping at the MPM while in Milwaukee! This time we ate at “Aladdin’s Taste of the East” and my Chicken Shawarma Wrap was delicious! The woman working the cash register and taking orders was very friendly.

Great place to start your visit to the capital of Wisconsin. Amazing market where you can buy all sorts, including amazing food (I had ribs and of course, fried cheese curds) and some gifts. I absolutely loved the building and the friendliness of all the vendors.

This is a nice place to visit and hang out with friends. There are many little shops offering gourmet coffee, wines, cheese, chocolates, sandwiches and seafood. Everything is delicious.

Bastante variedade de restaurantes com diversos tipos de culinária. Mesas no segundo piso onde se tem uma vista superior de todo o mercado.

The Public Market is rather small compared to other cities. There are two floors but most of the stalls are on the first floor. Most of the vendors are stores, restaurants, bars, coffee, etc. There is very little fresh produce, meats, seafood, etc. you can purchase here. It is still a great place to visit for food and beverages.

This is a MUST place to visit once in Milwaukee! Great atmosphere with numerous options to eat in or take out! It’s open only until 8pm

There is seating in certain areas and upstairs
Where is the best place to park, we will have about 4 cars and be going at about 1 pm on a Sunday.

There is a parking lot attached to the public market area. It will probably be very busy on Saturday. It is a pay lot through, but they will validate your ticket for an hour I believe if you purchase something with-in the market. Otherwise you might be able to find some street parking. We were able to park at the Harley museum and walk to the market. It was free and easy parking. We killed two birds with one stone. It is about a mile walk.

How much time should we allow out of our visit to spend here. we probably will he grabbing a snack and beer.

One hour is fine if you are on a time budget and just want a drink and some food. The food is generally ready pretty quickly and there is plenty of seating outside and upstairs too.
However you could also spend a day wandering the market, riverwalk its next to and 3rd ward shops it sits amongst if you wanted to and had time.
